I had an appointment to see Jean Stalcup today. She was AMAZING! She was very concerned, delicate, and informative. She had all the qualities I LOVE to see in health-care. She took her time and answered all of my questions and not one time did I feel rushed or ignored. I will definitely be back. I have a new home for ALL of my dermatologic needs. I am proud to say that I received STELLAR service today from Coastal Dermatology from the beginning to the end. The front desk was awesome as well, this is where it starts!

After seeing a Fairhope Dermatologist three different times with zero answers for a horrible skin condition, I made an appointment with Dr. Dempsey. She took the time to sit down with me, diagnose the issue, and determine a treatment plan. I cannot say enough about Dr. Dempsey, her nurses, and amazing staff. They truly care about their patients, and I’m so thankful for Coastal Dermatology!

Went in for a full body scan because my fiance seen a spot on my back. Was a bit nervous but the staff made me feel comfortable. My scan came out clean thank goodness and the NP Ms. Kara Box was very nice and professional. I highly recommend.

Dr. Kathryn Dempsey and her staff were a godsend! My husband had a horrible experience with another local dermatologist so my boss at the time referred him to Coastal. Dr. Dempsey took one look at the spot on his head and knew it wasn't good. The previous doctor balked at taking it off and in fact told Bob that it was nothing. He said he'd take it off if Bob insisted, but it would leave a huge bald spot. He was so blaise about it that we didn't worry about it till it got bigger. When Dr. Dempsey saw it, she IMMEDIATELY took it off, sent it out, and long story short, it was STAGE FOUR MELANOMA! Bob is now undergoing immunotherapy treatment and although he's very sick, we have every hope that he will beat this! Thank God for Dr. Dempsey, Kara and all the crew at Coastal. You saved Bob's life! We are so grateful for you all.

I was a patient until I called to make an appointment and was told it had been a while so I was considered a new patient, but the doctor isn't taking NEW patients right now. I have been a patient here before this place even opened their new office. I wasn't aware I had to visit every month to stay on their "current patient" list. What a lovely way to treat people!
