Alaska Center for Dermatology

The center was great! We were greeted right away! The front desk staff were friendly and had everything in order and ready for us. We were taken to the room for appointment very quickly. We didn't have to wait long. The nurse and the doctor were kind, thorough and listened to our concerns actively. Very satisfied with the outcome of our visit.

I had 4 referrals that started In April and it is now January. I just now got in. I finally just had to call 2 different doctors for referrals. Nobody called, and they wouldn't look at anything that I was there for wouldn't look at my papers to prove I had 4 referrals I have them in my hand. As we speak actually, and that's the really important ones that I needed to go there for I wouldn't even know what the guy looked like or his name. That's how fast he was in and out, didn't care? Didn't want to listen to my concerns. Didn't want to look at my pictures. Didn't want to look at why I should actually be going there. I just named that was awful that they didn't want to look at anything or see anything. I was referred to there because Providence is supposed to be good but this department. I think they need to do an overhaul that was awful experience that I've ever had in a long time going to a doctor I'm sorry to have to say that, but it was. I went there because I need help. And they didn't even want to see why I was really there ignored me for months.

Had to wait ten minutes past appt time, but in this day and age that’s not bad. Front desk people were nice.Dr Mitchner is fantastic, cordial and very thorough. His assistant was great as well

I had an early appointment and did not have to wait long at all. The doctor was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions concerning my skin condition. He was efficient. We will definitely see him again if needed.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer. They were helpful and friendly. I wasn’t left in the exam room very long before the doctor came in. He was friendly and efficient. I’m already scheduled for my next visit in April 2025.
