Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Gilbert

I have been with Dr. Halmi since the mid 90s. I love him and his staff is always amazing. Tasha Mack and Kendall Jenson are always amazing. I saw Tasha today and she greets you with a smile as always and takes time to talk to you. The front staff are always pleasant and professional to deal with. I would never go anywhere else.

FWe went 2 days ago because my primary doctor recommended for my son, the attention was good but still waiting for the prescription they supposed to send to the pharmacy the same day for my son. First call:He has a very bad rash and I call to the office and they said need to be approved for the doctor and need to wait. Second call: they leave me a message tell me it was send to his pharmacy and I need to call to see the status and waiting for 2 weeks until my insurance covers or pick up and paid the full price. They never told me about this they just said got to Walgreens and now they say sorry for the confusion. So at this point the appointment was a waist of time.

Tasha Mack is a superb, professional dermatologist. For the past 10 years, I have had all my dermatology needs, annual checks and biopsy check-ups withTasha Mack and her wonderful friendly staff. The Blue Light face treatment really helped my sun-damaged skin -- I didn't hve to use chemical face peel - Teriffic. No long wait times, appointments are as scheduled. Thanks Tasha.

See Yelp reviews. They limit the space review on Google, and it seems loaded with reviews from people who aren't actual patients. I gave them a 3 on Yelp and articulated the pros and cons. The cons have officially outweighed the pros. It's sad how so many healthcare facilities are more focused on profits than care in recent times.

I scheduled an appointment with them two weeks in advance, as this is typically the soonest they have available. The disappointment was scheduled for a Saturday. For some reason, they sent me all kinds of updates alerts and communications up until my appointment but they never sent me one that I needed a referral in order to be seen and not charged cash. This makes no sense to me why they would wait and tell me this at the desk. Very unprofessional, very inconsiderate of the patients needs. This could even look like a scheme for them to try to accumulate more cash. What is even more strange about this is that with my insurance I have been seeing the same GI for almost 2 years off of the same referral since it is for the same issue and those appointments have been separated by as much as 6-9 months. So the fact that they would have me wait weeks for this appointment, communicate with me over 10 times prior to, and then turn me away on the day of is just ridiculous in my opinion. So now I am to continue suffering due to their unprofessional and inconsiderate actions.
