Dr Allen is a fantastic person. His professionalism and genuine care for his patients really stand out. He takes the time to listen and makes everyone feel comfortable. I highly recommend him!

I went in to follow up on a strange skin/ankle biopsy result from my dermatologist. Dan ordered some tests and oddly prescribed medication for IBS. When I went in to get the test results he was irritated I hadn’t filled the IBS script (because I wasn’t experiencing IBS) and couldn’t interpret the unrelated hormone test he ordered. He shamed me for various things including being concerned and asking questions about blood results that were a bit out of range. I found him to be arrogant and lacking general medical knowledge about women’s health issues. I really wish Gold Canyon had better options for medical care.

Kevin Bell was my PA for the past 8 years. Unfortunately, he has left the practice. It's not the same without him. He was THE BEST!

This is the best family practice I have ever been to! The staff are always friendly and courteous. Dr. Allen is so so kind and courteous. Dan Finney always makes my day when I see him. And Roxanne Rea makes me feel so welcome every time I see her. The MA’s help me anytime I need anything and are quick to get my stuff to the pharmacy.

I have been going to this doctor's office for almost 15 years. I usually don't need to go to the office unless I am feeling ill, which is allergy related sinuses, or to have my annual wellness check. So today I called to see if I could get an appointment, due to coughing and sinuses, and the receptionist, asked if I did a covid test, I said well no, it's my sinuses, she would not make me an appointment, I asked where am I going to get a covid test if not at my DOCTOR'S Office? She said to go to pharmacy or urgent care!! OMGOSH! So in other words don't go to your doctor (health care provider) if you are ill!! My insurance wants us to see a doctor, cause they charge you if you go to urgent care or ER, but my doctor will not see you if you are sick! Shake my head... Now, it looks like I am in need of a different doctor, cause I will Not be going back!
