Arizona Desert Dermatology

So disappointed in what I experienced. This is not the same practice Dr. Don Anderson built. Sadly not the same ideals of professionalism from when I worked here. Dr. Anderson was so amazing and shaking your hand was important to him. I moved back to Kingman from Phoenix. I was needing my 6 month cancer check. When I made my appointment I told them I was there for a 6 month cancer check, I have had 5 skin surgically removed or treated with topical chemotherapy. Skin cancer checks are a FULL body exam. If a dermatologist doesn’t look at your feet go somewhere else. The MA didn’t put me in a gown. I had to ask her. Then Dr. Peterson looked at my scalp (site of 3) and my cheek. and above ear. But he didn’t do a full body exam. I will be going go back to my dermatologist in Phoenix.

Caring, compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable are only a few of the many adjectives that can be used to describe Dr. Nathan Peterson. My husband and I have been patients of his for several years, and he always takes the time to fully observe any dermatology conditions we have, and also listens intently to our concerns. He is truly outstanding in his field. His entire staff are friendly and helpful. Recently, I met his office assistant, Jackie, and she showed above and beyond extraordinary care and compassion.

I met with Annika for my first skin check and had a very pleasant experience. She was not only knowledgeable but very professional and personable. She put me at ease after explaining that I had some concerning spots and painlessly took care of them at the same appointment. I will continue to meet with Annika for my annual skin checks and highly recommend her services to all of my friends and family.

The dermatologists are amazing, but the receptionists and workers were beyond unprofessional. The receptionist I had to talk with was chomping on her gum the whole time she was talking to me, and acted like she didn't want to be there. The girl who helped push an elderly man in a wheelchair through the door into the office rolled her eyes and laughed as the gentleman was complaining about his feet being banged on the door entrance which I clearly saw. Just hoping the dermatologists would be able to make their office have a better environment and impression when first walking in the doors. The dermatologists were very helpful and clearly helped me with what I came in for. Both Peterson and Bergenson were awesome and also the M.A. Tori, just not pleased with the receptionist staff.
