Dr Perez is a very warm and compassionate person. I casually mentioned a medical issue that had been dismissed for decades of my life as “anxiety”. He started asking questions about it and probing and ordering tests and referring me to specialists. At this point I was trying to convince HIM it was anxiety 🤣, but he was not buying it. Good thing he didn’t. I ended up needing a device that very well could have saved my life. I felt like family - that important to him. Thank you!!

As a darker skinned woman, I cannot recommend these esthetic services confidently. I met with Rita today for a consultation and possible chemical peel. They did not have the peel that was advertised on their website which is okay but I could have saved the 40 minute drive. My skin was not examined in detail, questions about acne or product use other than retinol were not asked. The peel available does contain an active ingredient that is not suggested for darker skin use yet I was still asked if I wanted it. It was at this moment that I knew something wasn’t right. If I weren’t educated what would have happened if there were adverse effects? I felt as if she did not want me as a client because skin prep for the peel was not discussed in the consultation which could lessen any adverse effects of hyperpigmentation. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. This is not a place that actively cares for darker skin and they should be honest about it.

I love DC Ranch Family Medicine. I have been a patient of Dr Perez for almost a decade and it always feels like family when I am here. Everyone here is always amazing and great!
