Ego Medical Aesthetics Bar

I truly hate to write this review, but after multiple failed attempts to contact the office and speak with the manager, Addie, I feel obligated to warn others. This has been, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a medical spa. I work in the aesthetics industry and have visited over 100 medical spas, yet I have never encountered such poor management, lack of professionalism, and disregard for patient care. My first visit was fine, but after that, everything fell apart. During my second visit, I was poked *seven* times while trying to get an IV. I was told I was dehydrated, so I even offered to pay for an IV to help. Instead of providing a solution, Addie dismissed me in an incredibly condescending manner, acting as if I had no idea what I was talking about—when, in reality, I have extensive industry knowledge. After she left, a staff member actually apologized and admitted that Addie did not know what she was talking about. Then, after a microneedling treatment, my skin developed severe hyperpigmentation. Concerned, I reached out for guidance, only to have Addie attempt to sell me a facial just three days later instead of offering any real help. I have since had to spend thousands of dollars elsewhere trying to correct the damage caused by their incompetence. To make matters worse, they bruised my arms so badly during the IV process that I had *dark bruising for an entire month*. As an apology, they offered me a free IV—but after everything I’ve experienced, I don’t even feel safe stepping foot in this office again, let alone using services I’ve already paid for. What’s even more concerning is that multiple staff members confided in me because yet again, I am not a “difficult” person, that management is completely disorganized and that they do not feel confident in the treatments being performed by some of their employees. One employee even showed me a note in my chart where Addie labeled me as a “difficult” patient—simply because I asked questions to ensure my safety. I also have an unused package of five microneedling treatments that I paid for, and for over three months, I have been trying to get a refund. Every time I call, I am given an excuse, my calls are dodged, and I am repeatedly told that Addie is “out of town”. Code work for not caring to speak to me. At this point, it is clear they have no interest in making things right, and I strongly advise anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. I was truly wanting to just get done with my services and shut my mouth, but the lack of professionalism, unsafe practices, and complete refusal to take accountability make this an establishment I will not recommend to anyone in the industry.

Brittney was amazing! Came in for a Vampire Facial- the location is fabulous. The decor/music was contemporary & fun. They served water in a “wine” glass. I asked her to be super aggressive with the microneedling and she obliged unlike other places I’ve gone. The front desk girl who drew blood was sweet and didn’t hurt me upon withdrawal. The blanket while receiving service was a really nice touch. I got my first treatment two weeks ago and see a big difference. From start to finish I loved this place! I bought a package and can’t wait to see the finished results. I highly recommend this spot- ask for Brittney!

I went to the Ego Medical Aesthetics Bar located at Scottsdale for a Microneedling with PRP and HA Cocktail session. Charlie was my asthetician. She's so skillful, professional and knowledgeable. The after one week result is highly satisfied. Thank you, Charlie, for the amazing result!
