She took the time to answer my questions regarding a naval medical procedure as well as additional questions that were not relevant to this visit. I had my initial consultation with Dr. K for breast reconstructive surgery after a bilateral mastectomy. My expectations were exceeded. She is one of the most knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate women I have met in the medical community. She put my mind at ease and answered every question I had with such grace and poise. My worries were put to rest as her staff were equally as kind and supportive. The office is beautifully decorated and cozy, adding to the atmosphere of peace and comfort. I am grateful to be her patient and look forward to feeling beautiful again after going through so much. I have had breast cancer reconstructive surgery with this group! Dr Koonce was wonderful! Surgery was well done and the staff were all professional as well as kind. I'm very pleased with the out come of my surgery. Breast cancer and radiation left one of my breast's looking horrible. Now, they look even and are the same size, which makes me happy. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful.
