I met multiple doctors to be sure I found the doctor that was best for me and Dr Soares was the best. He is very experienced not only in cosmetic augmentation but also in cancer reconstruction. He is very down to earth and practical. I really appreciated that about him. He offered specialized expertise on level the other doctors did not because of his higher volume of surgical experience.

Dr. Marc Soares is a phenomenal surgeon and an overall phenomenal human. He genuinely cares about his patients, and that comes across in the level of care he provides. I am a very complex patient (I would venture to say, probably one of his most complex), with more medical issues than I can keep track of. However, when it came to my desire for post-mastectomy reconstruction, he took the time to understand what I wanted, he listened attentively to my concerns, and was very honest in what was possible. His calm demeanor instantly puts you at ease, which for me is so incredibly important (especially with all the many complications I had along the way). I’ve had many, many doctors, and many surgeons as well, and his level of care far exceeds any of them. I’m not thankful I had to deal with cancer and all that it brings, but I’m extremely thankful it afforded me the opportunity to meet Dr. Soares, and it has helped restore my faith that there are still doctors and surgeons who genuinely, truly, care for their patients.
