Dr. Payam Abrishami, MD, FAAD

Prior to the Dr’s move and integration with another physician, I would have provided 5 stars. But the last time I attempted to get to the office, his receptionists seem devoid of hospitality skills. First, by ignoring the noted fact that I couldn’t possibly have any knowledge as to his new location. And then with a clear second chance to get me to his new location streamlined and safely, that receptionist chose not to provide the all-important details as to how EXACTLY to enter the area off the freeway nor where to park nor how to access the office. Later they would charge me $150 for having thrown out my back after walking just over 3000 miles without a car. I called the day prior as soon as the incident occurred and guessing her intelligence level and focus on collecting money superseded her ability to listen as she actually told me that I should have called the day prior to throwing my now severely tainted L4-5. I said “How could I possibly do that given that it happened just two hours ago and a full 30 hours before my appointment?” Can you spell b.i.m.b.o. Perhaps one day physicians will come to terms with the noted fact that the majority of their new and continuing patients are a result of their front office staff. Hiring too young and seeking a good piece of a . . Isn’t going to result in anything but. And most definitely not your desired clientele. I invoiced them for $175 given that Abrishami’s new, young and cheap personnel cost me roughly an hour and a half of wasted time. Too bad he switched up his game. It was stellar prior to this new shared office with a waiting room full of 8-10 patients needing to be seen. Highly recommending Mad Rose Media, Agoura Hills to his team for a comprehensive rehabilitation.

I have been seeing Dr. Abrashami for more than 15 years. He is up-to-date on the most modern techniques and is a fantastic person and physician. He and his staff have gone out of the way for me multiple times. I cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. Highly recommend.

Great Doctors who are the BEST and more concerned with treating the illness. They don’t try to keep pushing all those cosmetic/beauty products on you for which most dermatologist have LOST their primary focus of treating skin diseases and figuring out the cause! The 45 min drive to see Dr. Abrishami & Dr. Chu is definitely WORTH IT!!! 👍🙏👍

I am soooo happy to have found Dr Chu at Abrishami Derm!! I moved out of LA a few years ago and have seen several different derms in search of one as detail oriented as my LA provider since I have a history of skin cancer. I was unhappy with all of them until I found PA Chu. FINALLY a very detailed skin check, then, on top of that we started chatting cosmetic concerns and I was truly blown away with Dr Chu’s recommendations on skincare- she is deeply knowledgeable and up on current trends and techniques. She recommended several products to me (not even sold by them, so not trying to upsell) and I love each item she has recommended. We are addressing concerns that have never been addressed by any of my previous providers and I’m so excited to see where my skin goes as I continue to follow her recommendations. On top of that, the front desk and assisting staff are all incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, on point- they make me feel right at home and welcome. Cannot recommend this office more. Plus easy parking on site and right off the freeway.

Dr Abrishami has performed multiple successful MOHS surgeries on me which have probably saved my life! Dr Chu has given me extremely helpful advice for treating my psoriasis. Abbey is so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Alyssa at the front desk is very friendly. This is one of the best medical offices I have visited for any type of care. Thank you Dr Abrishami!!!
