West Dermatology Arroyo Grande

This was my first visit. I was greeted pleasantly and had a very short wait time. I have never felt comfortable with the yearly skin checks. I was immediately put at ease and was well taken care of. I'm looking forward to further care at West Dermatology.

Waited for over 20 minutes and maybe spent Maybe 5- 10 minutes with doctor didn’t feel like that’s would be enough time to be thorough for a yearly check up. Got a billed for service from a year ago much to my surprise never received a billed prior.

Very professional. Got right in when I arrived and was seen very quickly after my arrival. Great office staff. I would highly recommend this practice.

Unfortunately, I wasn't seen during this visit. I sat in the examine room, dressed down in a gown, for almost 45 minutes. No one came in to share out if there was an emergency and or anything. I looked out the door and all the doors were shut and no one to be seen. I got dressed and went up to the front desk to reschedule, with the GP, NOT the new doctor.

the doctor sat about 3 feet away during the exam, not sure I was even touched at all.Didn't check under my breast, scalp,or my arm pits. First time being checked for any skin cancers, and I don't think the exam was thorough and it took less than 10 minutes easily.I was warned not to go to this office, was told the good doctors all work in the slo office. At my age, sunbathed into my 20's, and I live outdoors and don't use sunscreen, didn't seem to concern the doc. Good luck I hope you have a better experience than I did.
