UPDATE: I initially rated my experience here a 2/5 stars due to some issues I encountered. But I am now changing it to 5/5 stars. After sharing my honest review, the owner personally reached out to me and took my feedback seriously. I was incredibly impressed with this level of customer service - it's rare to see a business owner so dedicated to improving the customer experience and client satisfaction. The owner's willingness to listen and make changes has fully restored my confidence. I genuinely believe that he is committed to creating a better experience for future clients. This kind of care and responsiveness is what turned my below average experience into an outstanding one.
I came in for the $59 special. Never done this before and was very excited to see if it worked. After the consignment to my room and was immediately hooked up to the massager. I felt it wasn't strong enough but she said that this is for beginners. So after an hour I was unhooked and went out to talk about my options. As we talked she told me that my person that hooked me up said I needed 6-8 sessions from looking at my stomach. She never looked at my stomach. I also found out that I didn't even get the fat melting part done. As a professional business how do you not do the entire procedure? Also to say how many treatments I needed without even looking at me? I was not happy with the wasted time and felt like they tried to get over on me because it was a sale. Fortunately I was not charged. But, no one came out to talk to me about what happened and why it went the way it did. I rescheduled for another appointment this week. Hopefully it will be a much better experience. I will let you know afterwards.
⭐ 1-Star Review – The Most Expensive Mystery Serum Ever ⭐ Ah, where do I begin? My experience at Glow Day Spa was truly one for the books! If you’ve ever wanted to pay top dollar for confusion, lack of communication, and a surprise $100 serum, this is the place for you! Let’s start with the basics: I got a facial beforehand to determine the best procedure for my skin. I specifically mentioned (multiple times) that my main concern was my jawline and under my chin—which apparently went in one ear and out the other. When I arrived for the actual procedure, numbing cream was applied… just not to the areas I actually cared about. When I pointed it out, the provider quickly added it, which was a fantastic reassurance that my concerns were clearly documented (spoiler alert: they weren’t). Now, here’s where things get interesting. Pre-care instructions? Never got them. What’s that? There’s a list of medications you shouldn’t take before the procedure? Cool, would’ve been nice to know that BEFORE I was on the table. In fact, I didn’t receive my pre-care instructions until—wait for it—MID-PROCEDURE via text. Truly groundbreaking levels of organization. Also, fun fact: I have several crowns and a tooth implant—which no one ever asked me about. So when the provider went to work on my upper lip, I felt a pain that I can only describe as an exorcism happening in my mouth. Good times. But wait, it gets better! After enduring all this, I went to pay and was handed a small bag with a serum as I walked out. “Oh, how nice,” I thought, “a little aftercare gift.” Nope. It wasn’t until I called later to ask for a refund (because, you know, the whole ‘not getting proper medical clearance and informed consent’ thing) that I was told I had actually paid $100 for that serum. $100! For a product I never asked for, never agreed to buy, and was never even told had a price tag. Naturally, I asked for a refund for the service, since it was performed improperly, without full disclosure of risks, and without proper screening. The owner’s response? “Well, we can’t refund you because it cost us money to perform the service.” Ah, yes, the classic “We messed up, but you still have to pay for it” business model. Gotta love it. So, to recap: I got a procedure I wasn’t properly informed about, was given incorrect medical information, experienced unnecessary pain, paid for a mystery serum I never asked for, and was then told that even though they failed to do their job correctly, I still had to foot the bill. 10/10 would not recommend—unless, of course, you enjoy expensive surprises and playing medical roulette. Oh, and before you think, “Surely there are other bad reviews?”—go ahead and read the reviews they haven’t paid to remove. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Don’t go ! Don’t waste your money. Always under new “ ownership “ products are poor. Aesthetician’s need more training. Couldn’t get a refund on a package deal I bought after many several poor services I’ve complained about! I do not recommend!
