Do NOT go here. Horrible office with no accountability for errors!!! My boyfriend had bug bites after a trip that left marks and never went away. He had them over his back and legs. He went to the Vera Dermatology to get them checked and at their recommendation, he got 2 biopsies done—one on his hand, and one on the back of his leg (at the PA’s recommendation). 2 weeks later, he went back to get his results, only to be told that they seem to be regular bug bites, and that she didn’t know any better as to what they could be. Ok…except the biopsies were $350+ WITH PPO GOLD INSURANCE, and now he has scars left from the biopsies—not from the original bites, since they had to cut a significantly diameter of skin and give him stitches. When pressed more about it, and asked why she chose such a visible spot (the top of his hand), the PA didn’t have any answers for him. The PA—JESSICA FAN—wouldn’t take any accountability for the scarring, and the lack of care to attention to stitch removal, scarring, or even placement of the biopsies. She started getting upset saying, “I don’t know” and ran out the room. Obviously, this left him very upset. Today, we come to find out that there is an additional bill that must be paid ON TOP of the $350+ bill for the 2 biopsies (which at the time they said it was the amount of the biopsies in full), and over the phone, they’re just saying we need to call the lab and figure it out ourselves. And when asked “who goes to the dermatologist to leave with scars?” The guy on the phone LITERALLY says, “that’s what happens when you get a biopsy.” Excuse me? You’re a dermatologist’s office. This is ludicrous to hear this from the office DIRECTLY (his name is Aaron). Honestly, highly disappointing & upsetting service, which to be clear, I’m even shocked that I have to refer to a medical office visit as service. I am genuinely shocked at the good reviews, which seem to be stemming mainly from more cosmetic procedures which says a lot on where their priorities lie. In addition, I’ll say that reaching the doctor in charge of this practice, Dr. Betty Song, seems impossible because clearly they are shielding her from complaints. They won’t even share an email and are stating that she doesn’t have an email…for her own practice? Avoid this office at all costs. There are multiple dermatology practices that treat their patients with genuine care and this office is clearly not it.

Dr. Song did an excellent job with my facial Botox. She really paid attention and listened to what I was interested in having done. She ran through her plan with me and answered all questions patiently and thoroughly before starting. During the procedure, she was calm, checked in with me frequently, and and made everything so easy and painless. I will 100% be visiting her office again!

I had my first Botox with Dr. Song this week. I was a little nervous but she fully explained the procedure and patiently answered all my questions. It was so quick and very little pain. I really appreciated her calm and soothing voice and how she checked in to see how I was doing throughout the procedure. Her office space is clean, bright, and welcoming. Highly recommend her for any cosmetic or dermatology needs!

I couldn’t be more happy & grateful for Dr. Song & her team. The office is beautiful & clean. The customer service was refreshing…Dr. Song was so personable & kind, I felt comfortable having her care for my skin. She quickly removed a benign mole on my arm, it was painless! I highly recommend Vera Dermatology 🙌🏽❤️
