Hi there! My name is Julie Heitman and I am the daughter of Robert Biakcin, 84, who is a patient of Dr. Jonathan Okman. We have been seeing Dr. Okman for a couple of months for my father. Since it was a treatment plan, we see Dr. Okman on a regular basis. The skin issues my father had were quite worrisome and stressful for us but Dr. Okman and team put us at ease right away from the first appointment and on. While my father healed quickly, he enjoyed visiting the office just to see the doctor, and a few dry humor and we are so thankful for his recovery. I wasn’t the patient, but my partner was and we were both extremely satisfied with the care given and received. The staff is friendly and professional and Dr Okman has a great “bedside manner”. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed about the procedures and explained everything he was doing in layman’s terms. Easy-going personality with a light sense of humor. Highly recommend them to anyone needing dermatology services!

Based on my experience with this office, I am shocked by all the wonderful reviews. On my appointment day I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time but had to wait an hour after my appointment time to actually see the doctor. I was taken back to an examine room 30 minutes after I arrived, was told to change into a gown and then was stuck waiting in that room for another 30 minutes. I was told the doctor was behind schedule; my appointment time was 8:45am and they open at 8am. After my hour wait, I had a 10-15 minute visit with the doctor and that was fine, but nothing special. It's now been 10 days since my appointment and I'm still waiting for them to send my prescriptions to my pharmacy and for an update on test results. I called but of course no one picked up and I had to leave a voicemail.
