I booked a free consultation with Angela not knowing what to expect. It was my first time getting Botox and I was nervous but Angela answered all of my questions and educated me throughout the process! I was able to reach her easily through text and she responds ASAP to answer any post care questions I had! Her pricing for treatments are extremely affordable (compared to the market); professionalism and skills were beyond what I expected! I loved my results and will definitely be coming back for more! I went to Angela for my first Botox injections and I was super happy with my results. She gave me a natural look and gave me injections to help my TMJ. The TMJ injections were great and wish I had done them sooner. She was super helpful and answered all my questions. The injections were nearly painless. The second time, I had her do a lip flip and while I love the results I am not sure I would personally do them again. Angela did mention that I might experience some difficulty drinking from a straw and pronouncing some letters. I thought “ok, how bad could it be”. I’m in no way saying Angela did a poor job but rather the side effects were a bit challenging. Drinking from a straw required me holding my finger over my lip to get a good suction. I didn’t tell my husband because I wanted to see if he’d notice my “stiffer” lip. He did once, but I blamed it on a cold. I don’t think he really noticed as much but I felt a little self conscious when eating and drinking. Drinking hot drinks was hard for about two weeks since you can’t sip. Kissing and some intimate things were difficult, how much it was noticed, I don’t know but I felt it was noticeable. I also noticed my upper lip was dry and flaky because the part of my lip that flipped is usually moist and now it was more exposed to dryness. Exfoliating helped. The other thing to note is that you can’t press your lips to smooth out your lipstick. The Botox on my face and TMJ were amazing. I don’t know how I feel about the lip flip. I loved the look but not the side effects. If you do get the lip flip the worst of it lasted about two weeks. Don’t get a lip flip unless you’re 3 weeks out from any big event. I’ll definitely be back to have Angela do my Botox.
