Sidenote: Hopefully, this time they’ll actually acknowledge this review, as I’ve noticed their recent reviews have been really bad—with not even a single reply. That alone should tell you what kind of business this is. I have been a loyal customer of this business for over 13 years, even back when they were at their old location. I have purchased a product they call “Triple Action” multiple times without any issues. However, on my most recent visit, I was suddenly told that I now need a prescription and must pay a $250 consultation fee to obtain it. The frustrating part is that I have already purchased this exact same product from them on three separate occasions—without ever being required to have a prescription. When I questioned this, they admitted they had made a mistake, but this wasn’t a one-time error. It happened three different times. If a prescription was always required, why did they repeatedly sell it to me before without one? And if they made the mistake, why am I the one expected to pay for it? To make things worse, they claim they have no record of me as a patient, despite the fact that I have been going there for over 13 years, even receiving facials in the past. They never provided receipts or paperwork for the three times I purchased the cream—just charged my card without documentation. I’ll be pulling up those charges and posting them as proof. When I called to discuss this, Brianna was the one who initially spoke to me. She then passed me on to her manager, who seemed more focused on asserting authority rather than understanding the issue or offering a solution. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they refused to acknowledge any fault. The least they could do is take me in as a client and discount the $250 fee since this issue was caused by their negligence—not mine. At the end of the day, businesses should care about their customers and the future of their relationships. But instead of offering options or making things right, this manager was dismissive and unwilling to help. Someone like that needs to be taught how to actually care for customers instead of shutting them down. This experience has left a bad impression, and I would caution anyone thinking about doing business with them.
Used their services a few times, content with that, and nice doctors, but the billing is the reason, I won’t return. Paid on my way out, owed later for unpaid by insurance, never received a bill, by mail, which was told, they sent me 3, no call, or email, (cause they had that wrong). So, I finally heard from their collections. I always pay my bills. Collections couldn’t even come up, with what I owed. Finally, 1 out of 2 office staff, was able to help me. Appreciated her. So, that’s the reason I won’t return. Can’t take a chance on that again.
I have been a patient here for over 12 years.. It is the best of all my Drs. offices in long beach. Tania and Maryann and all the girls in the front office are always very helpful and welcoming. Dr Hamidi is my fave dr (although i've seen them all) all the girls in the back office are just as kind and helpful as the girls in the front.. I feel most people take the time to write negative reviews and people don't take the time when it's good.. so here i am taking the time..i've had skin cancer and also used their cosmetic services. I will never leave this office until they close the doors and lock them :)..
I have called some lady named Wendy a week ago and no one ever returned my call and I think that is very unprofessional to not call back a potential client that left a message and call back number. Just for being unprofessional I will no longer spend my money at this company.
My experiences with dermatologists began in the summer of 2013 when I lived in Sacramento, CA. Since moving to Long Beach in 2014, I have visited a few other dermatologist usually every six months. My experience with Dr. Beshir, the medical assistants and the front office have been the best.
