Patient Preferred Dermatology

I've been coming here for many, many years, and during that time have been treated by quite a few of their doctors. I've always had good experiences, and that includes the receptionists.

Let me start off with saying this had nothing to do with my personal dermatologist Dr.Haitz. Rather the front desk/ receptionists. We called yesterday for them to send the lab order to the lab, and they said that they’d send it and we’d be able to go within an hour. Being that we were busy at that point we decided to go the next day. The lab had not received the order so we called PPDerm today and the lady answering said very rudely that there was no staff there today and that she would not be able to help us and that we should call the lab. When we get to the lab as I said before there was no order. We called again in attempt to get the lab order and she said she would transfer us to one of the medical assistants when we were then put on hold for 20 minutes. We call from another phone and she hung up the phone in our face. We call again no response, another time, no response, 3rd time we call i was extremely fed up with the horrible and unprofessional attitude from the receptionist, I spoke to her and told her how upset I was with the service and that it shouldn’t be this difficult to get a lab order, we were finally transferred to the medical assistant and she finally sent the lab order after hours of trying to get one. I ended up missing my appointment and had to wait and hour on the walk in list. This is completely unacceptable service.

I have been a patient here for many years. Was concerned when my favorite nurse Kathy left the practice. Not to worry: a new PA was hired! Her name is Tracy Wiegand, and she is absolutely awesome! She is extremely conscientious and seriously meticulous about making you look your best. She takes ample time with you and explains the variety of treatments in depth (and there are MANY!!: at least 20 different types of chemical peels!!) and what would provide the best outcome work for your skin's condition. Highly recommend!

My daughter see Dr Haitz for her rigorous 6 month Accutane treatment. Accutane treatment is very intense, which involves several tests for every visit. however Dr Haitz and her staff especially her RN failed to ensure that my daughter gets her monthly appointment. So she missed her meds for at least a week until I made an appointment and complain about their inefficiencies. Gloria the front desk staff obviously have no clue about medical conditions and Dr Haitz Nurse tries to pass the blame on my daughter or me for not making the appointment. I work as Respiratory Therapist for 20 yrs and never left my patients hanging especially during Covid, I went extra mile to help them get better. I held their hands and gave them hope that they will go home to their families even when I was overwhelmed. I guess, I was expecting a good customer in Dr Haitz staff to help every patient to have a great experience in their visit. And ensures continuous treatment but I was wrong. It doesn’t take that much to ask a patient if they need to book their next appointments or nurse to ensure that patients doesn’t missed their next visit. This is what you do in medical field. We don’t just bill our patients and off they go. No ma’am! If I work in this office, I get off my phone and ask every patient before they go out the door if they need/ want to book their next appointment. Gloria/Dr Haitz RN please go extra mile with a smile, it’s the right thing to do.

Wonderful work gets done here. I went to get lip filler done by Tracy Wiegand with my mom and we were so happy with the results. Tracy was really kind and attentive. She really makes you feel comfortable during the process. I would recommended Tracy Wiegand to a family member or friend. Also, the manager Hailey was very kind to us. Thank you!
