The Eyelid Institute

Well unfortunately there is a character limit, and I can’t write the comprehensive review that I wanted to (you can check it out on Yelp!). I do want to say that my experience with Dr. Hui was exceptional! Not only did she fix the issues I was having with my eyes, but she did also it at a great price! She is an amazing, friendly person and a consummate professional. The skin between my eyebrows and my upper eyelids drooped quite a bit over my eyes. Not only did they make my eyes feel perpetually tired, but I thought they made me look old and tired. Unless I had my eyes wide open in a surprised look, you really couldn’t see my upper eyelids at all. The surgery fixed that without making me look like I have a surprised look on my face. It is very natural looking. But there was another benefit that I had not expected… my eyes literally look brighter to me. I did not realize how much the extra skin blocked out light from hitting my irises. So now, my hazel green color eyes pop so much more than they ever had in the past! Second, I had very hollowed out looking eyes on the underside. The surgery also fixed that. There were also some fat deposits that gave me ‘bags’ under my eyes that Dr. Hui had corrected with the surgery. I cannot stress how glad I am that I went to see Dr. Hui for my consult and having her perform the surgery. It was definitely worth the investment and thankfully, the investment was much less than I thought it was going to be!

I recently had upper and lower eyelid surgery and it was so easy, I couldn't believe it. Dr. Hui did a great job and everyone at the surgery center was very nice. Afterward I had minimal pain and some swelling. Dr. Hui was wonderful. It is now 5 weeks later and I look great. She is personable and friendly and highly skilled. She took all the time I needed in our initial appointment as well as the follow-ups. I strongly recommend her for this type of surgery. She's great!!

I recently had upper and lower eyelid surgery by Dr Jennifer Hui at The Eyelid Institute. I am 1 month post surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I finally have the heaviness off my eyes and I can see again. Dr Hui is extremely talented and she explains everything. She is professional and very personable. I highly recommend Dr Hui.

If you are looking for eyelid surgery you really must find an ophthalmologist trained in eyelid surgery. You cannot find a better surgeon anywhere in Southern California than Dr. Hui. She performed an upper eyelid lift, a brow lift and tightened my lower lids to hold more tears. The outcome was perfect. She eliminated the tired look and did it with perfect balance between the eyes. You cannot find a better outcome than with Dr. Hui.

I want to let everyone know the office staff at The Eyelid Institute is very professional, supportive, nice. More than happy with my eyelid surgery very satisfied with my outcome and Dr. Hui she was very nice and professional. Would recommend Dr. Hui for any eyelid issues.
