The office staff is kind and responsive. Dr. Bennett demonstrates compassion, empathy, and kindness that is far superior than her staff. I went in to get my breast implants removed after 18 years. I had an implant that had ruptured. I went in for a consultation, it was the most genuine and best explained conversation I had with any doctor. I went in for surgery a month ago. I had a removal of both implants, however, the procedures were both different because I only had one rupture. The best way I can explain what happens after implants is like this, scar tissue forms around your implant enveloping it like a cocoon. It's like having a worm in a cocoon, the left cocoon was sliced open and the worm was plucked out. The right cocoon was taken out altogether because there was no telling what the worm inside looked like. My left breast healed in about the two weeks I took off, and my hope is that it has healed completely after the one aspiration I had on the third week. My right breast had more work and it has been a nightmare. Everyones body is different, mine usually fights hard to heal pretty quickly but I believe the trauma to the breast was probably a lot. Unfortunately, the drain from my right breast came out after only three full days. Perhaps I took the recommended walking too far. Subsequently. my right breast was aspirated three times, 120cc, 20cc, 20cc, respectively. I ended up in the hospital after that and Dr. Bennett was kind enough to see me right away and get another drain in which I still have in more than a month after surgery. I say all this to say that if you happen to need a full capsulectomy due to an implant rupture, it feels like major surgery. Treat it as such. The week and a half I took off was fine for my left breast, ask for more time off to recover and heal if you undergo a capsulectomy. It's been more than a month and I'm still in severe discomfort and some pain, I can't sleep right, eat right and think right when I'm working. I'm foggy and have a hard time concentrating all day because I'm sleep deprived and from the pain medicine which never really alleviates the pain, or the pain itself. I've even had my employer tell me, you should be taking care of yourself first. What do I say, I keep getting notes for work from home instead of full time off. Ask for appropriate time off. I didnt know what it would be. Now I do and I'm telling you. The discomfort I feel from this experience is 10x worse than the time I got my implants put in and a full body makeover with tummy tuck and lipo. Do not work from home. I've tried it. You need time to recover, part of that isn't just physical recovery, it's mental health. You are no good to your body if you are stressing over the healing process and work, and you are no good to your employer if you can't think straight. Take the time, you pay into your employers short term care plan, you pay into disability, you paid for your surgery, that's why you have sick days, and your employer would probably rather have a temp or backfill that can go into the office. The recovery for this procedure should be 6-8 weeks. That's my recommendation. If you can, take the time off. If you feel great and dont need it, then go back to work.
Dr Bennett is an INCREDIBLE surgeon in every regard and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with her! I couldn’t be happier with my results! Not only is she a great surgeon and recovery was minimal, but she is so kind and has amazing bedside manner. Would recommend her to everyone I know!
Dr. Bennett is an incredibly gifted surgeon, as well as ethical and empathetic. After significant weight loss and three babies/3 c sections, I chose to have a breast lift and tummy tuck. I went on a quite a few consults and knew immediately after hers that I was done searching. She made me feel comfortable immediately. I appreciate that she took a very conservative approach to my requests, even telling me that implants were not necessary and that a lift would suffice for the natural results I desired. She could have very well up-sold me, but she did not. Surgery was relatively quick and I healed with no pain. It’s been a year, & the results have been tremendously life changing. Everything I’d hoped for and more. Her staff is warm, welcoming and professional. I will continue to see her for Botox and recommend everyone I can to her. She’s fantastic!
Dr. Bennett and her staff are the best! She is friendly, and proffesional and shows concern for your special requests. She gives you assurance when you are feeling apprehensive about any procedure. One of her special gifts is her peaceful spirit, she explains everything in such a way that calms your nerves before you are just thinking of doing a procedure and when you are going into surgery. Her prices are the cheapest of the whole Inland Empire. I will definitely continue to recommend her. Keep up the great work Dr. Bennett! 👍
Excellent!! Just had my second procedure with Dr. Bennett. I feel wonderful and with very little discomfort just like she explained in my preop appointment and before my procedure. I look forward to more procedures with Dr. Bennett. I referred my friend with her for a a breast augmentation as Dr. Bennett has the best prices in the I.E. and she was looking for an affordable plastic surgeon. Her staff (Dee) is awesome too!! Keep up the great work ladies!!👍😉
