Everyone in this office is wonderful. The attention and care I receive there is always remarkable. The office people are caring and easy to work with, and Dr. Kraffert always makes me feel seen and heard, and takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions. I thoroughly trust him and his staff with all of my dermatology needs.
Just wonderful. Made me feel. As if we were sitting down to dinner with family. I can't say anything that would top this.go see him even if you just want to talk.
It's a rare occasion in this town that a medical office operates as well as this place. Brian was great. I literally didn't feel a thing. On time, friendly and efficient! Nice job.
UPDATED: Well, I guess I'll have to be the one dissenting voice amidst all of the accolades and the fawning sugary reviews of 'CK Derm". If you value bedside manner, at least from Whitney (who is a PA by the way) or any kind of empathy? DON'T GO HERE! I have never been to a dermatology office in my life. I don't ever want to go again if "CK Derm" is any example. Three months prior, a pimple started on my forehead above my right eye. I picked at it. I squeezed it, it scabbed over, I picked it again, hey! I can't help it! I'm OCD!, anyway. Yeah it got infected. And it got rally infected, it got bigger, fast. It turned red, the scab was noticeable. Of course I couldn't get in to see my primary PA for months, so did Dr. Online. She said, Shingles. It continued to be painful! Went to walk in clinic. They cultured it, diagnosed as infection. Really?...They gave me antibiotics, it began to shrink down, did another round of meds with ointment, it completely, finally went back to normal aside from the scab. Which I kept ointment on. Two months had passed, went to primary. She saw the scab, played with it. Pushed on it, said "This looks black" I said its a scab. she measured it, referred me to 'CK Derm". Sat in room, Whitney came in, says 'Hi I'm Whitney" shakes my hand, and I start to tell her the story...She interrupts me and says "No, I think its cancer." I was like "What? how did an infection turn to cancer?" "Because, cancer doesn't go away"..."NO $^*|???" "We need to biopsy that" at which time she actually came over, inspected the scar that was left after almost 3.5 months of infection...I'm laid back, lifted up, Lidcaine, scalpel...'Uhh, I can feel that" "Oh we have more of this where it came from" more lidocaine...The point is, it was ridiculous! NEVER have seen a dermatologist, certainly haven't seen a PA-Dermatologist in my life. I thought you had to be an MD for that kind of diagnosis and treatment. "But how did.." "Because, Cancer doesn't go away" She finishes, nice to meet you and leaves. I am in a whirlwind at this point...No explanation, no reason why she thinks...NOTHING. They now called and said they sent it off for a second opinion??? Another week or so? I mean, No thanks. People that have given this place a 4.8 overall rating, are either blind or I am ignorant. Needs MAJOR work on empathy training, needs MAJOR customer service training, and a MAJOR tune up "I'm Whitney, Its cancer. because cancer doesn't go away." Yeah, that was my point, IT DID GO AWAY!!! "Hi, I'm Casey, Cancer doesn't respond to antibiotics"... UPDATE: So the fun never ends here. Maybe I am just one of the people that has that kind of luck. But, I was told that they had sent off my biopsy for a second opinion, I was told at that time, it would probably be another 7 days before I heard back. No, it was four days. I was told that that they had results for me. So I call and talk to someone, not the original person (Trinity) who had called me. I waited on hold for an length of time, and she returned saying, 'The Doctor wants to see you" OK, "I just called to get the results I as told were waiting" and..."Well, Dr. whatever his name is, wants to see you personally" OK now this just adds insult to injury. "He wants to talk you" "OK again what are the results?" "Well, he wants to talk to you in person, they are inconclusive, we sent them to University of California" People, I am sorry that I can't get onboard with the glowing reviews by everyone else, but this is RIDICULOUS! THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME, THIS IS MY LIFE AND HEALTH HERE! These people have no clue what they are doing in terms of handling patient care, empathy or anything human or customer service related. I will keep my review up-to-date, but as of right now? these people get an updated one start review for continuing the clueless mistreatment of human being who has been left completely confused and stumped by this kind of treatment.
I’ve been to numerous dermatologists for my psoriasis and I felt like none of them have really helped me. I was so happy to actually get the help I needed here. I’m finally getting on biologics and the dr even gave me a sample in the office so I can get results quicker. They assured me they have a good team to deal with insurance companies to get it covered. I’m so happy that I’ll finally have clear skin again. After not feeling comfortable enough to even wear shorts in public this will be life changing. Also the office is nice and clean. And the staff is friendly and helpful.
