Myself and family members have been clients of Dr. Trinkle for 20 plus years. Dr. Trinkle is excellent. Her staff ( PA ) I won’t post her name .. is disappointing. I went in for one procedure, and she tried brow beating into a totally different ( more expensive treatment' ). I am a cash patient & have had this exact service done in Dr. Trinkle’s office many times . Always enjoyed excellent service. This time I was treated with such disrespect & downright rudeness. Apparently this P.A was angry she could not up sale me . She was aggressive and downright obnoxious. Dr. Trinkle has employed this PA for many years. Thankfully I’ve never been her client . She may do better in a high pressure selling environment. Or interrogator for the FBI !
I was not emotionally prepared to have a diagnosis that I've had since I was a child challenged by a medical professional. However, here we are and if I could leave 0 stars for this facility, I would. We're transplants to the area and I was looking for care to treat an ongoing condition. However, one of the medical professionals in this office tried to educate me that everything I've known about medical history for decades and from a variety of doctors is wrong. Deeply disappointed in a medical office what wouldn't listen to it's female clients in 2024 but that was my experience here.
This was a difficult experience. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I think that they did do a good job checking for melanoma but I'm not sure. I had other facial conditions and was given a prescription to wash my face which I was told was for fungus. When I asked what the fungus was they refused to share the information with me. I have other skin issues treatable with simple prescription creams covered by insurance. However the only things Dr. Trenkle was willing to offer was a $250 skin cream and thousands of dollars worth of lasers (again for items I know have prescriptions for that insurance covers). I felt so uncomfortable I just stopped talking but wanted to know what the fungus was because I know that this is not just a skin issue, but driven by something going on internally with my health. Skin is a health symptom and I just wanted to know what I had to address the root cause as well. When I called to get the information, I was then told that the shampoo was for Rosacea and not the fungus (which is not what I was told in the consult), and that I had Seb Derma. But then when I pressed harder for information, it took me pushing for the nurse to tell me that it was not Seb Derma but something else entirely. Why are you guys hiding patient information and upselling overpriced items that have affordable solutions? Plenty of people want the more expensive solutions and forcing those who don't by withholding health information is not okay. You are a Doctor. There are basic standards. On top of that the nurse who was helping looked miserable to be there. Not a health team I suggest investing in.
I used to have really bad acne, I mean serious pizza face. If you met me now, you couldn't tell at all, but this is all because of Ingrid Trenkle. One of the best physicians that I have ever had the honor to meet. She takes her time, she's extremely thorough, covering all bases and possibilities without blind assumption, what more could you ask for in a medical doctor? Although, she is very busy with a huge caseload, and it might take a little while to get to see her, it's worth the wait, a busy doctor (who runs a private practice) is a good sign that she's a great doctor. Her intelligence and intuition leaves no room for error, I love Dr. Trenkle! (Apparently so does everyone else here)
They don't train their staff properly with the equipment. If you want additional scarring on your face, then you've found the right place. Shockingly unprofessional.
