I’m extremely disappointed. I have waited a few months to book here because I am recovering from a procedure. I had called about two months ago and spoke to a very nice girl about pricing for laser lightening. She explained to me the price of the laser lightening ranges around $350 per session and that she’d be more than happy to put me on the schedule. I told her I won’t be ready for another two months but I’m very excited to book with them as what seems like a reputable med spa. I called back to finally book my sessions, and the lady on the phone told me I’d have to book a consultation first. I explained to her how I live an hour away so I’d rather just book the laser as I have already tried professional creams and bleaches, I didn’t love the results and I just wanted to do the laser. She then told me I’d have to pay $500 today just to book because I’m “taking an hour of the nurses time” but that that’s not the full price for the treatment, it just goes towards the final price. I’m not really sure who I spoke to that quoted me first, and told me how simple the procedure was and gave me a great price but I’m severely disappointed in being asked to pay $500 + for a bleaching treatment and them not being accommodating at all. Who knows what the final price would even be once I drive an hour to get there. It seemed like a great place so I’m really just overall saddened that I was not able to book. My number was in there system so they should have saved my original quote so that the entire staff was on the same page.

Been going here for years for laser treatments. They are the best. Great atmosphere, very professional. Good pricing and deals. Bre was an amazing tech. She pushed the settings, but made sure I was still comfortable, in order to get the best results. Definitely come here for your laser hair removal service, and more!

When I see business using dishonest activities, I avoid it. I purchased a Groupon for a treatment in this office. The treatment supposed to be reoccurring so it’s obvious that I can pay lower price with Groupon at first, see how I like the services and then return and pay a full price monthly which I’m fine with. That’s how I found my previous clinic and I would continue going there if I wouldn’t move to another part of the city. But when I called to schedule an appointment, the lady told me I have to pay additional $50. They included this “hidden” $50 fee in the long formal description at the very end as “…$50 fee may be required for medical clearance…” I didn’t notice that and they told me it’s not “MAY be required” it HAS to be applied even though I told them I am already going through this treatment and I just need to continue it at another location since I moved and now I live far from where I was doing it again. If you charge the fee, SAY IT CLEARLY IN THE BEGINNING and don’t use “may be” Don’t try to hide it and make people feel tricked afterwards. That’s not how you gain trust. I can’t return the money but I’d rather loose them then go to this kind of place. Since I am refusing to go and take their services I paid for, I’m attaching another reviewer from Groupon who explained what is going to happen when you pay this “medical clearance fee” I wish I read reviews before purchasing it.

The problem is that Spade Skin Care failed to disclose that photographs were mandatory and required in order to receive treatment. This was never stated to me via phone, in person before I paid for the medical clearance, in the consent forms, or in any of your policies listed on your website. I had planned to have my bikini area lasered, and if I had known that photographs of my private area were a mandatory requirement, I would never have visited your clinic or purchased the Groupon. This crucial detail was completely omitted. Because I refused the staff to take pictures of my intimate area with their ipad, they denied me service. They redeemed my Groupon even though I did not receive service. Please BEWARE of this fraudulent company. Please see how the owner responds to these reviews. On August 16, 2024, the phone call lasted 22 seconds, and I was not notified that photographs were required. On December 30, 2024, the phone call was 2 minutes, and again, there was no mention of photographs of my private area being mandatory for treatment. Please provide concrete evidence showing that photographs are required in order for services to be rendered. That is the key issue here, and it has not been addressed. Before any service was performed, they charged me a $50 “medical clearance consultation” fee and said it was needed for the laser treatment, which turned out to be nothing more than a brief questionnaire asking if I had any allergies or was on medication—a process that is typically free at other clinics at SEV, New Look, and Touch of Class Med Spa. When I finally went in for my bikini laser session, the clinic insisted on taking photographs of my bikini area. This requirement was never disclosed beforehand, and I was not informed that consenting to these photos was a mandatory condition to receive treatment. I refused because taking pictures of such private areas seemed unnecessary, invasive, and inappropriate. However, because I didn’t consent to these photos, they refused to perform the laser service entirely. No where in their disclosure form did it mention taking photos is a requirement for treatment. I never agreed nor was I ever informed that photos were mandatory for the procedure to occur. As a result, I received no actual laser hair removal services, yet they refused to refund me the $50 consultation fee. This practice feels like an unethical bait-and-switch tactic—luring customers in with a Groupon deal, then imposing undisclosed conditions that ultimately prevent the service from being performed. It’s both slimy and deceptive to withhold treatment for something that was never clearly communicated upfront. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission government website for fraud using these shady bait and switch tactics. This clinic’s behavior is not only unprofessional but also highly questionable. Charging $50 for a routine medical questionnaire that most clinics provide for free, and then refusing to provide services or issue a refund when those services aren’t performed, reflects shady and unethical practices. I strongly advise others to avoid Spade Skin Care & More Inc. and seek out more transparent and ethical providers. Do not waste your time or money on a place with such misleading policies and unprofessional conduct.

I’ve been coming to Spade Skincare for over 7 years, and they’ve been amazing in helping me heal my acne and hyperpigmentation. I initially came here for my cystic acne and scars, and they’ve are pretty much all gone. I love their photo rejuvenation and picoway lasers for this. I can’t recommend them enough!
