Went here several years ago to see Dr. Horner for terrible intensely itchy rashes I was getting on my arms, shoulders, and torso, after waiting months for a referral and appointment. It was very disappointing. She was somewhat rushed and dismissive and seemed bored by my case, and she gave me feedback I already knew from google, such as "Don't use any perfumes". (I didn't.) I found out on my own months later when I developed other symptoms that I have a gluten intolerance. Stopped gluten, and the rashes disappeared. I still remember this frustrating experience. I wish she'd tried harder to scratch below the surface to figure out what I was dealing with.

Took my son here for acne problems and he was nervous because he expected them to poke and prod, and pop acne on his face. We saw the nurse practitioner there and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took her time making sure that he understood his concerns were addressed. She didn't even touch his face. Face. She just had him pull off his mask and look at his skin. And she started out with a really simple routine that he could handle with some mild prescription ointments and antibiotic medication. I also brought all of the over the counter face items he had been using so that she could see what our at home treatment was

Dr. Horner is such a caring doctor. Staff is super efficient. Rarely wait, they are on time. Just the best!!!

Almost the worst front desk/appointment/assistant staff in Sacramento. They constantly forget to send info by email, don't return calls, act very inconvenienced when you call and ask a question, and are all around mean and not happy to do their job. However, PA Genevieve Town is an incredible person who has been patient and helped me in every way she could. Unfortunately the fact is most people will interact with everyone but their doctor most of the time since the scheduling/payment/ pharmacy stuff is handled by the worthless staff. That's why I'm rating it two stars. If I were just rating my physician, PA Town would get 5 stars easily.

Good experience with my health care provider. Good from checking in to checking out. She explained everything to me in a straightforward manner. I endorse this office for Dermatology health care.
