Black pants before, Gray pants is after abdominal surgery with Dr. Moelleken. Unprofessional office, stitches were sloppy, gave me a long scar, plus a garish vertical scar with bunching of the skin, wide, horizontal navel. I asked for a refund and he grew defensive and gaslit me. Miserable and expensive experience. Thankfully was able to repair at the hands of another surgeon.

I am blessed with, and grateful for, a normally very nice face, but unfortunately, by age 50 and every decade after that, it inevitably grew a perpetual jowly frown which is both off-putting, and I think, isolating. Our expression is, after all, our intermediary with those around us, and should communicate our essential self. I was looking judgmental again. So, when I no longer look like who I am, it was again time. My former surgeon had retired. As a serious credentialist, the earnest hunt for the very best plastic surgeon began. I had also looked around me in a very beauty-conscious town, and everywhere saw what I did not want- stretched mouths, lumpy fillers, bulging cheekbones and blank expressions. Not for me. I did not want a same-day, out-patient procedure. And I was willing to travel. So I studied resumes and portfolios for over a year in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, New York and Connecticut. Studying these, I found Dr. Moelleken’s credentials to be impeccable, unsurpassed, and appropriately well recognized by his professional community. For me, the consultation was key. He is not only thoughtful, observant, a keen listener, but also kind, interested and engaged. He genuinely wants to know who you are. This is a rare quality, which is important if the goal is not to look like anyone but yourself. I looked no further. Also, having reached my 70’s, my surgery was not uncomplicated, since I had accumulated several underlying health issues. These could not be overlooked or minimized. Dr. Moelleken addressed these with the serious attention each deserved; I had complete confidence in his medical judgment, and his medical staff. He is first and foremost a physician who is dedicated to health and healing; his advice and recommendations were never about his schedule but always just for me. He is supported by staff who are equally committed to one’s health and comfort; they are all completely professional. There is simply no pressure from these people. They were never rushed or impatient, even when I was. The anesthesiologist and surgical nurse are the best ever. Throughout, I was assigned to Crystal, who is superb. I don't think I ever waited half a day for an answer from Crystal, who was in constant contact with Dr. Moelleken. I loved the setting, too. It’s just-right, classy-boutique. I stayed two nights at the after care center; I wish I had stayed three, since they are that good to you. My follow-up has been seamless, and I am thrilled with very positive results.

I recently had a tummy tuck done as well as a breast augmentation. Best service I could have hoped for. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Overall very satisfied with Dr. Brent’s work. Amazing job!
