Terrible experience with Dr Lo. After he recommended a lower bleph for hollowness the procedure left me with an eye retraction and scar tissue under the left eye and I still had terrible hollowness . He recommended a canthoplasty to fix the retraction and filler to fix the hollowness The canthoplasty caused eye asymmetry and still did not fix the retraction. The filler left me with lumps and had to go to another surgeon to dissolve the filler which cost $800 .The natural look and integrity of my eyes are totally gone now. I do not recommend this Doctor

My experience with Dr. Samimi was more than positive! My eye surgery went very well with no complications, He even went above and beyond on a holiday to reach out and make sure I was doing okay. Great office staff with good communication and follow up. Definitely will be back if I ever need to be

Dr. Samimi operated on my right eyelids, three years apart. The upper was drooping and the lower one had turned inward, both from 60 years of wearing a contact lens in one eye. Dr. Samimi came highly recommended by two physicians, my ophthalmologist and my contact lens specialist. He put me at ease right away by taking a close look at the eyelid and then saying he could do it. From that beginning to the surgery bedside care and post-surgery visit, he couldn’t have been more skillfu, caring, and compassionate. He answered all my questions with deliberation and knowledge. Dr. Samimi exudes confidence and warmth. He is very relatable. I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. A lot of the usual anxiety about experiencing a new medical procedure melted away because he is so easy to trust. The office staff was also excellent and always polite, helpful, and cheerful. I could tell they were each chosen well, and they make up pleasant teams, both in the Santa Monica and Encino offices. This is equally true of the crew at the surgical center. I recommend Dr. Samimi without any hesitation, and I’m sure you’ll feel as satisfied as I do. He’s a conscientious and serious doctor, but he’s also a saintly human being without a trace of negativity.

It’s not often I can be so positive about experiences with health issues and care providers. I had tear duct surgery to open blocked drains that prevent my eyes from draining. Dr. Samimi’s operation was simply fantastic from top to bottom. Office staff, medical staff, O.R. check-in, doctors, nurses and orderlies were most pleasant, efficient, communicative, and showed a sense of care during a time that is always a bit nerve-racking as a patient. And Dr. Samimi himself consistently took time to explain things and answer questions. His demeanor and attitude never felt rushed or dismissive. I realize these facilities care for an enormous amount of patients, so I am always very appreciative not to feel hurried or talked down to. I understand that the emphasis of their practice is aimed at cosmetic procedures. But I was not given short shrift. In the end, not only were my issues completely and successfully corrected, but the entire experience was handled as well as can be imagined, and was all in all a great one. Five stars is simply not enough! Kudos to Eyesthetica and the entire team!

Dr. Samimi was recommended to me by my Ophthalmologist. I called for a consultation and was seen by him the following day, which was unusually fast. Today he removed something of my eyelid and the procedure was expeditious, it took maybe 10 seconds. I hope the healing will be in high speed too :) Dr. Samimi is awesome, funny and fast ! I'm glad I was referred to him.
