Opinion of a Retired Emergency Room Nurse… After an accidental tree hugging incident while skiing, I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Rubinstein. The office secretary, Rose, efficiently scheduled an appointment as soon as possible. Dr. Rubinstein was punctual and examined my fractured right wrist gently and thoroughly. I never felt rushed, as all my questions and concerns were addressed. With his expert care, I expect a full recovery. For those of you looking for a qualified Hand Specialist, I highly recommend Dr. Rubinstein.

My appointment with Dr. Rubinstein was perfect. I liked the office, the staff and especially Dr. Rubinstein. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He immediately diagnosed and took care of the problem, a trigger finger. He took his time and asked questions to better know me and not just as a patient, but as a person. I was actually disappointed that there was no follow up. I would have enjoyed seeing him again. My visit was only one time, but I think I learned enough about the doctor to happily recommend him to anyone.

Dr Rubinstein treated me for a moderate tendon laceration. I’ve had several complicated ortho surgeries in the past and I’m very particular about who I trust to treat me with a scalpel. Dr R is very knowledgeable. I appreciated his candor, kindness and patience in explaining my prognosis and giving me all the pros and cons of my various treatment options. Although I opted not to have surgery for this injury, I felt very comfortable that he would have been more than competent. And in my case, the non-surgical option has worked out just fine.

Dr. Rubinstein is AMAZING!...from my consultations, the morning of my surgery, the next day PO, (he came in on a Saturday, who does that...a caring soul!) to my 8-week PO yesterday! The nurses at Los Robles Surgery Center were so kind...and fun :). Dr. R. came in to mark me up, he took his time and made sure I was feeling calm and all my questions and concerns were answered. Now to my results...to say I was nervous and scared of what I would look like after my implant removal, is an understatement! He EXCEEDED my expectations!! Dr. R. is caring, thorough, and eager to do his best. He is so personable, truly a perfectionist, and a very skilled surgeon. Dr. R, Thank you and I will forever be grateful!

after many months of continued pain in my wrist after a fall, Dr. Rubenstein was able to suggest occupational therapy with a very excellent team of hand specialists. I have had great success with continued therapy and avoided surgery. I am grateful for Dr. Rubenstein's care and concern.
