Mandel Dermatology - Boulder

I discovered a mole on my back. I called a dermatology practice and told them I had a history of skin cancer and needed the mole evaluated. They said the soonest appointment was four months away. I called Mandel Dermatology. They saw me within 24 hours. Dr. Fix was fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I will go back for my annual check ups. Highly recommended.

This was the first dermatology clinic I had ever visited, and I plan on sticking with them for as long as I am local. Nurse Ades was absolutely amazing and put my mind at ease during my appointment without even being aware of how anxious I was about a potential diagnosis. She made sure I was comfortable and happy with my diagnosis, gave me multiple treatment options and gave me the choice to pick what I felt comfortable with, and heard me voice my overly anxious concerns about skin cancer, steroid creams, and any other nervous ramblings. They also accepted my insurance and I had a VERY affordable copay! Thank you for putting my mind at ease.

I’ve seen Dr. Fix and Arielle Ades and I loved them both! Their nurse is also lovely. I feel relaxed and heard when I go to the dermatologist, which I can’t say has been my experience elsewhere. Their scheduling system is so easy to use and I can always get an appointment quickly. I plan to recommend this practice to my friends in the area!

I spent 2.5 months in India and came back with a suspicious growth on my face. My usual dermatologist said I could see her in April! That wasn't soon enough for me, so I searched for another office. I'm so happy that I found Mandel Dermatology! I found their website on Wednesday and had an appointment with Dr. Mandel on Thursday! He biopsied the spot (and another spot) and we had the results on Monday. I was relieved to find out so soon that it wasn't cancer. They did suggest freezing it off, which Arielle, the Nurse Practitioner, did this last Friday. So the whole process, from finding their website to completing the last procedure, took 9 days (including the weekend). And all of the care was excellent! From the receptionist, to the medical assistants, to Arielle, to Dr. Mandel himself, everyone was kind, capable and extremely competent. They offer both medical and cosmetic procedures. The office spaces are new and clean, and very well lit. It's a very pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this practice very highly!!

I’ve been going to Mandel for a few years for a variety of different dermatological concerns and Arielle Ades has consistently been kind, knowledgeable, and offered effective treatment options. Both long term condition management and quick fixes have been managed professionally and efficiently with Mandel. The whole staff is so kind and amazing at their jobs. Could not recommend enough!
