I really like this office and staff. Phaedra Hockman is very kind and compassionate. I’m happy to find a care provider of her caliber.

While both mine and my wife's care has been adequate, billing and clarity of charges has been woefully underwhelming. For identical procedures, on the first one we received a bill that was half of the one we received on the second procedure. The explanation we received was "Well, the first one had a mistake on it." no attempt to reconcile, only given the runaround. This is incredibly poor service as how are we supposed to be able to anticipate charges if we were never informed of a mistake? In the end, the difference is only a few hundred dollars and from a customer relationship standpoint, I feel there could have been a much better outcome. This certainly has tarnished our relationship with this group and we'd hesitate referring others here, especially if you have insurance issues (of which we do not, BCBS is our carrier).

Absolutely love this Derm office! Great staff, Chill office environment; excellent Doctors. Visited Dr. Mammino today for an excision - was very quick, painless and had great communication throughout. Highly recommend this practice for annual skin checks as well as specific dermatology needs. Great office!

I got an appointment at the end of August. I was a cash paying customer and told it would be about $140. They took 1 biopsy. On checkout I paid my bill and asked if there would be any other bills. I was told no because I was paying. About a month later I got a bill showing $1,000 charge that had been discounted down to $290. I tried to get clarification and I got threatened to be turned into collections. At the end of it they are wanting me to pay over $400. Stay away from this place they are crooked and deceiving.

I went to the my office visit with the intent to pay cash. I was told exam would be about 150 and if I need a biopsy it would be a little more depending on if a mole needed removed. When I was they I was told if I only need 1 mole removed the visit all together would be less then $200. I had an additional mole removed and asked on checkout I paid my bill and asked if there would be any additional charges and was told no I was all set. A month later I got a statement showing I was charged over $1000. I complained and asked about the additional charges. I was told since I was cash I shouldn’t owe anything. A month later I was threatened to be turned into collections. I calculated what my total payment was going to be and it was over $400. It took weeks for them to answer my questions. My advice is to be careful with this place they have hidden costs and fees and will lie to you to get you on the hook. Very disappointing how I was treated through the whole process and not communicating with me.
