Extremely disappointed as a first time patient!!!! What I’m seeing overall in healthcare is very very disturbing. Nobody seems to care nobody seems to show urgency!!! I am leaving the state of Connecticut. I was new here a year ago. I’m going back to where I came from where healthcare providers care about. Their patients truly. Does not leave you hanging without medication!!!!!! so I will no longer be seeing this doctor and do not recommend her. she is all about the Almighty $$$$. like the rest of them!
Even after waiting an average of 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment to see the Doctor I always feel like I'm rushed through my actual appointment. And it's not like I'm visiting for a superficial reason, skin cancer runs in my family. So it's kind of bothersome when it feels like the practice is treated like a fast food drive-thru.
I am extremely disappointed in this practice. My daughter, now 9, had been a patient there to treat her eczema since she was 2. I called to refill her prescription cream, and was only then informed that they no longer treat children. I should have received a phone call to this, informing me that my daughter no longer has a dermatologist and to find another practice. I feel this is a total disregard for patient care, knowing how long it will take to get an appointment at another practice.
Instead of getting to the root of issues by testing, etc. I was told to take Zyrtec.
If there were a NEGATIVE star....that's what she would get. First of all, totally rude last time I took my mom....she's sooo lucky my Italian attitude didn't bust out on her. Now, against MY judgement my brother had to go and that lovely money grubbing office gave a million reasons why people can not see the dr and get skin tags removed in one day as the APRN does the removal (they just want 2 office visit payments) and this was my mom and brother having back to back appointments.....one with the dr and the other with the APRN. My brother has more important issues so we thought they would give him my moms dr appt and keep his APRN appt right after. We offered to pay 2 separate office visits as long as he could see both dr and APRN (because that's thier money grubbing policy) and they said ABSOLUTLEY NOT. "That's not our policy".. hmmmmm, really because I've gone to 2 dermatologists that were NOT money hungry, rude, conceited drs and they did everything in one day Moral of the story.....go to a Dr and an office that actually gives a s_it. The story goes longer but I dont want to throw so many douche details at everyone. Sooo disgusted.
