I have never posted or written down any reviews because I felt like its just personal experience for every one on every businesses. Unfortunately, this time is really different, I took my aunt there from my friend recommendation, they already charged her up to $700 on the first visit for all shots that they need for first step which we accepted, but they never mentioned about 2 of series shot that will be expired in a month, and it is close to holidays week ( xmas + new year), after holidays, they called us to ask us to have her do xray, if xray came out normal, they can finalized the paper. Then they called after we got a normal result on xray and told us to have the last 2 shots to finalize the paper work plus the one she had to have at the age of 58, turn out to $665. The thing is the $315 for the 2 shot series were the one she already had in the first place and they said it been expired in 4 weeks which they never told us or even reminded us every time they called. And she didnt have insurance, everything is out of pocket, and seems like a rip off. Its couple hundreds nearly to $1000 not couple dollars. Im pissed because its a huge budget for her which she worked hard for, and people just tried to make money out of people hard working. Please let patients know more details and make sure they are aware of how much they will have to pay in total so they can be prepared of especially people without health insurance.

I love Dr. Robin Bansal, she cares about your well being. I don’t have insurance and have never had any unnecessary charges and everything has been reasonable. Love the online booking as well, will continue going to her!

If you are going to do Green card exam with Dr. Bensal, DONT GO, “He may recommend unnecessary imaging, which could result in significant out-of-pocket expenses.” There are a lot other providers in the area.

Up till recently I'd had a pretty good experience with Dr. Bansal, but sometime late last year he decided to stop taking my insurance. Not a big deal -- it happens. But, nobody bothered to call me about this and I didn't know anything until I tried to refill a prescription. Called office, was informed what was up. Given the short notice asked if I could get a refill anyway. He typically did 3-month ones for me. They gave me 30 days to last me until I can "find a new doctor." Well, guess what: pretty hard to get in to see a new doctor anytime before midway of this year. Called office back to explain, asked if they'd be willing to continue to refill prescription until I was able to see a new doctor in May. Keep in mind, this is a non-narcotic medication I've been on for many years, long before I moved to town and started seeing Dr. Bansal. No dice. Either come in as an out-of-pocket patient or try my luck with Urgent Care. Just seems kind of lame since I don't think writing scripts is costing his practice anything, and heretofore we'd had a good relationship. I'd even recommended his practice to quite a few folks. TL;DR, decent doctor, pretty easy to get appointments, front staff was fine ... just hope he doesn't decide to stop taking your insurance because it "doesn't pay him enough" ... if that happens, you're on your own.

The front desk ladies were so helpful, kind, and informative all while balancing many phone calls, patients, and other paperwork. I saw Robin as a new patient and she asked very straightforward and thoughtful questions about my health history and helped me form a plan to improve my health going forward. I got the referrals I needed while being guided on long the wait is for certain specialists at this time, and the easiest way to find a specialist in my network. After many years at a PCP who seemed like they could care less, I was blown away by the staff at Avanta Clinic! These are people who really put care into what they do!
