Integrated Dermatology of Groton

I was sent by my primary Dr. I got there waited for abt 45 minutes. I get into checkup room, and PA and 2 assistance took less than 1 MINUTE for skin skin check. No leg, back or groin area checked. Froze around my ears for no reason, but said maybe a preventing treatment. I was 73 yo at time. Never went back. Money making insurance factory IMO.

Google reviews Save yourself… this place isn’t worth it. I had an emergency referral from my doctor for a breast rash and saw Dr. Thompson. While others have said his bedside manner isn’t the best, I found him to appear empathetic. After doing a biopsy, I was told it would take 7-10 days for the biopsy results to come in. This is an incredibly long time to wait to hear if you have breast cancer. In the meantime, he prescribed me an ointment in case the rash was fungal. When the ointment made the rash worse, I called the practice and was told “there’s nothing more we can do for you than to try prednisone.” Which isn’t very reassuring and I also found the tone off-putting. So I take the prednisone while I wait for the biopsy results. 7 agonizing days. Nothing. Day 8. Nothing. Day 9, a Friday, I call the office first thing when they open. I can’t wait another weekend. I spoke with someone at the front desk and she spoke with Dr. Thompson’s assistant. She said they will call me back today. 20 minutes goes by. 30, 45, and hour, and hour and a half. I call back. THEY CLOSED. Early mind you! In Fridays they close at 12, I called at 11:15. So I moved forward with the answering service. She tells me they turned their phones off because they had a higher than normal call volume. So I told her, 2 hours ago someone said they were going to call me back. I’ll get a call back today like they said, right? I don’t know she says. Best I can do is relay the message. I called the answering service again at 1:45 - 3.5 hours after I was told the doctor would call me back - and left another message for someone to call me. So here I sit, a mother to 4 kids under 7 anxiously awaiting results for 2 weeks now that tell me if I have breast cancer or not.

The staff there is absolutely fantastic and welcoming , I had Christopher and Natalia , they are both very welcoming. Natalia really is determined to help me out with my alopecia!!

The doctor for my son was incredibly unprofessional. I asked him about the freezing process and what it was like, and he took the freeze bottle and, without my permission, froze MY arm to show what it was like. I can't even make this up. I was in shock that he would do that without my consent. At the end of the apt, which was rushed, he said, “ sorry that I did that to your arm,” and left. Then they said they would give my son a prescription and never had it sent to the pharmacy. I will never go here again.

Misdiagnosed by Dr Thompson. Really disappointed. I knew it when I left. My son warned me who went there for years not getting diagnosed or any clear answers. After he switched he got answers. It's just not right what happens there.
