Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Cape Coral

Appointment was at 9:00 am. Was not called until 9:50. Taken into room and waited until 10:10, answered questions. Doctor came in at 10:15 and did the procedure. Taken into waiting room at 10:30. No communication until 11:50. Was told to go to check out, waited there 20 minutes. Finally left office at 12.15. Was there for 3 hours, 15 minutes for a 15 minute procedure. Very unhappy.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Today I had an appointment with the dermatologist at 9:25 which I just made yesterday, I arrived at 9:20 on time for the appointment and the guy at the counter tells me that they can't see me because my appointment was at 10:25 and that I was late. But how do you explain that if it's 9:20? I just don't understand it, and to top it off he just kept repeating the same thing to me without any sense. I'm asking him to explain what he's telling me and he just keeps repeating the same nonsense to me. I think it would have been better if he told me that there was a mistake on their part and that they didn't write down my appointment, there without hesitation I'll sign up for another day because I understand that we are human and we make mistakes. Obviously I won't go back, very bad treatment and management by the counter.

I had a dermatology appointment this morning at 10:25 AM. I arrived on time, went through the appointment, got prescribed some medications, and was sent to the lobby to pay. The first issue I had was that they completely forgot about me. I sat in the lobby for 15 minutes before finally getting up to ask what was going on. When I did, they acted like they hadn’t even noticed me and claimed nobody had told them I was there. Then I went to the pharmacy, only to be told they hadn’t received any prescriptions and that I should wait a few hours. I called the pharmacy later in the afternoon, and they still hadn’t received anything. By this time, it was 3 PM. So I called the dermatology office to find out what was going on, only to be met with a message saying they were closed. Their posted hours say they’re open until 5 PM, yet they had shut down early for no reason. Now I’m stuck without my medication for the entire weekend because they failed to send the prescription and closed early. This is absolutely unacceptable for a medical office. I’m giving them a one-star review and will never return. Unfortunately, every dermatology center in Cape Coral is owned by the same company, so they can treat patients like garbage and get away with it.

Had an appt at 155p, arrived at 2p. Sat in waiting room until 233p. Then moved me to examining room to wait another 12 min. So I left! Almost 1 hour wait time to get a skin examination. What’s the point in making appointments if you don’t keep them? Not to mention the constant texts to confirm your appt. Won’t go back!!! Look for better options.

Waited for them to verify my insurance prior to the appointment. Was told about my copay and the fee for "surgical" procedures. During the appointment, the PA asked if I wanted to "freeze off" two spots from my body, completely unrelated to the reason for my appointment. I was never told whether this would be covered or not by insurance or, if not, the additional cost. It took 10 seconds and I was charged $500. Absolutely disgusting and unethical.
