I have never felt more at ease with a doctor as I did on my first visit with Dr. Soe. She gave me a simple explanation of my diagnosis and treatment. She let me know I could call or come back if I had any questions. She was funny and really easy to talk to. I’m so glad she was recommended to me.

I have been a patient for about 10 years and have always received the best of care from the entire staff. They provide a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere. Dr. Soe is a wonderful dermatologist. She is quick in detecting any skin changes and treatment needed. I highly recommend her and her staff. They are also supporters of many Dunedin area community events.

I felt rushed by the doctor. And did not feel that anyone listened to my concerns. Some of the treatments and remedies recommended I had already tried with no results, and I expressed that to them. After consulting about my mole and being told that we can remove it, but it will come back and leave scaring and no we can't help you with the scar, is when I realized I was not in the right place. I'm sure that her judgment on the mole condition was correct but her execution was cold. I felt embarrassed after the entire exam and consultation. She gave me the same exact medication that's been given to my teenagers for acne. One of my concerns was my arms and she did not examine that at all. I didn't realize it in the moment because all I could think about was I regret coming here. Her bedside manners we're awful as she grabbed the neck of my gown without warning and stared down at my chest. I'm not a modest person but this was just sloppy and rude. I took her recommendations and prescriptions and followed them regardless (out of desperation for something to work), and my skin just got worse and worse every single day for 3 weeks. It's taken me 2 months just to get my skin back to the way it was when I initially went in. Having struggled with my skin for so long and then finally getting the courage to see a doctor, this was more than disappointing. It was devastating. I did reach out to state my concerns and the "bot" response said someone would be reaching out. No one ever contacted me.

I LOVE Dr Soe and the entire staff at Virginia Street Dermatology! Seriously, I’m always greeted with a smile and a hug and a “how have you been doing?” greeting. I’ve never (in more than four years now) waited more than 15 minute total to be ushered to a room and be seen. They’re friendly,, they’re caring, they’re prompt, they’re thoughtful, they’re thorough …. What else can I say except, if you’re not a patient here too, why not?? PS I’m not related to, bribed by or in any way influenced to offer this testimonial - I just think bad news travels plenty fast - why not good news too! So far we are very happy with the employees that we have interacted with. Everything was explained so it was easy to understand. We look forward to future visits. The only issue I have is it is difficult to talk to anyone when you call the office. You have to leave a message and wait for a call back. I am "old" school. I still like to talk to people, not machines. Hopefully I just haven't figured out the right number to call.
