Apparently, the office is extremely understaffed. There are printed copies announcing this shortage throughout the waiting and exam room. However, the paper signs are tattered and obviously very old. Which leads me to believe it is not an acute problem. I waited for an hour to be seen. Which gave me the time to observe that the office was sorely in need of a paint rejuvenating. When the doctor arrived, she hadn’t briefly reviewed my chart and had no clue that I was there for my annual checkup. I won’t be returning.

The dermatologist (Dr. Badia) was truly exceptional. The staff members were also very courteous and helpful. This was my initial visit to the clinic, and they prescribed some medications for my skin condition. I will provide an update on the results later, but I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the facility and their outstanding customer service.

I sent my husband to this practice, as I had seen Shiresha in Building B for an issue many years ago. My husband's appointment was with her, and again, she was wonderful. She diagnosed his issue, prescribed an ointment, and off he went. His issue was with the receptionist at the front desk. He walked through the front door, right on time. The receptionist was dealing with another client. Before taking a seat, he stood a fair distance behind the client to check-in. The receptionist stopped what she was doing, looked at my husband, pointed her finger at him, and said in a loud voice "You need to go and sit down". She was extremely rude. My husband won't be back.

Ever since FL Skin Center merged with Advanced Dermatology, the customer service has been terrible. The actual medical staff and PA’s are fine, however being able to speak with someone in front desk, or customer service is terrible. I had an appointment on May 8th for aesthetic treatment (which I paid for in full last year 2023), was in the chair with numbing cream on, and the machine was not working. This is the second time. I was given a free session due to this. They said they would reach out to me when the machine was working again. Never was given a call. I had to call 3 different times to get my appointment rescheduled for May 28th, and was later sent a bill for the free session. I have called various times to the billing department, and the office location which never picks up. When I finally got a hold of someone in billing, they said that the office manager would call me within 10 business days. She then told me that if nobody answers to go in person. Fast forward to my next appointment, June 25th, I tell the front office my issue, and then the computer system apparently isn’t working. She then proceeds to say she needs to verify with the physician and will reach back out. I have been going here for years but I am highly unsatisfied with the lack of communication from all staff. When my treatment is finished I will probably find another dermatologist office for my concerns due to this.
