I have a skin condition that I’m determined to resolve once and for all. After my recent physical, both my family doctor and I agreed it was time to address this issue. I specifically scheduled an appointment with a certain doctor because the last one my wife encountered was rude and unprofessional. The doctor I saw was an experienced gentleman who demonstrated a clear understanding of my condition. He examined me closely and confidently stated that he could treat it right then and there in the office. During the procedure, he took some samples for testing as a precaution, but I was frustrated that I never received a call back regarding the test results. Additionally, the staff displayed a lack of friendliness, creating unnecessary hassle by making us switch rooms simply because we chose to see the doctor we had originally booked, rather than the one they preferred.

Love Dr. Alejandra Vivas! She is an amazing and dedicated professional. She listened to my concerns and then explained step by step what she can do to solve / improve each one of them. And then… OMG, amazing results!!! Her passion for her profession is to provide natural results on all her patients so you look pretty not “overdone” or swollen - like too much - what I see on some other ladies. I Highly recommend her, not all doctors make you feel like she does; great experience 👍🏻👍🏻 great results 🤗

I went there for a skin reaction that became irritating to me. This clinic showed up on a list through my insurance network and in hindsight I really wish they hadn't. First of all I was about 10 minutes early for my initial appointment, yet I still ended up waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time with what looked like about 20 staff members (all polite) behind the desk and almost no one in the waiting area. Whatever. Once in the office, the doctor seemed nice enough but l felt very rushed and did not feel listened to. Not a good feeling. I was very quickly seen and prescribed a soap and a cream and given a handwritten note of my diagnosis. By the next day my skin had become so much more irritated. I called 24 hours later panicked and bothered, and was scheduled back in the office the next day (48-hours later). I was seen by the same doctor, who saw me again in a whirlwind-like rush, and stood by her initial diagnosis even when I said I felt like that diagnosis wasn't it. This time I was prescribed tablets. At the end of this second visit they wanted to charge me, to which I said "absolutely not"... I was not about to be made worse off and pay them twice (I have yet to see if they will honor this 2nd visit as free because it appears to be billed through my insurance at the moment... I'll update this post later!). The whole thing felt like a money grab. I left, filled the new prescription too, but even days in the tablets did nothing. I felt very let down. Anyway, after 2 days of no real ease, I booked an appointment elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. I got in days later. When that doctor examined me, she and the P.A. looked at each other, chuckled and shook their heads when I told them what I had been prescribed. She patiently - with no rush - told me what the issue was, explained why my skin was reacting, said that I was COMPLETELY misdiagnosed, prescribed a cream, and set a follow up appointment. I filled that new prescription from the 2nd opinion doctor and it worked like magic almost immediately. Within days my skin was flawless once again. Zero issues. I debated doing this part but here goes... PROS: - good location - free parking - clean, nice ambiance - kind staff at the front CONS: - long wait time - feeling rushed by the doctor - feeling unheard - being misdiagnosed - being charged twice for their misdiagnosis (we'll see how that goes) - being made to spend on creams & soaps that I shouldn't have been prescribed ***There are many doctors in this office, so I'm aware that maybe I drew the short straw.... But after the experience I had I feel like Minars is a "pretty" office, but as they say: "All that glitters is not gold".

You will not find a more competent, intelligent and super sweet dermatologist than Dr Patel. She is awesome. She is glad to take whatever time is necessary to carefully check and to explain whatever you need for her to explain. Her staff seems to really respect/like her and that speaks volumes.

Doctor Vivas is one of the best dermatology I have seen. She patiently listens to me on each visits and is very knowledgeable to whatever skin issues I have at hand. I highly recommend seeing her to others because you wont be disappointed.
