Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery - Lakeland

It has been over a month with NO results on a biopsy. All calls go to voicemail and they wont call me back. I wish I had read recent reviews. My cancer has returned and needs attention. Its not like I can get a new biopsy done somewhere else. I've been going here for years. They used to be good but now there is a new staff. They are Terrible! I have to agree with the 1 star reviews posted since mid 2024. Stay away.

Patients beware !! The first sign of decline is the tattered pealing furniture in the waiting room. These are the SAME chairs from when Dr. Murray was still practicing years ago but in absolutely pitiful condition, wish I had taken a photo. I was scheduled for an 8:00a.m. appointment but got up to get a refund on my copay after waiting 13 minutes for the office manager to apparently finish with her staff meeting! Who knows how long one would then have to wait before seeing the Dr. and in what condition that room and equipment would be in ?!!! I was a patient of Dr. Murray since he opened his practice and sold to this “group” and never had an issue. You be the judge if you want to trust your well being to an outfit that can’t even maintain run of the mill office furniture. On a positive note, the receptionist was very polite and professional for the awkward position she was placed in obviously day after day after day !

The staff was lifeless and basically not attentive. Nurse didnt even warn me that she was about to numb my wrist for a biopsy, just stuck the needle in!.. then the Doc just butchured me and had ZERO bedside manner.1 voice mail left for me with no information, and 2 weeks later no word and still not healing well. The price was very unclear for self pay. Be smart and please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Yeah this place does kinda suck. We did self pay for 2 separate visits. Both visits were wildly different prices and Noone seems to know why. I saw the Dr for a total of 30 seconds. The support staff is McDonald's level. Better off finding a better place.

This office does not assist and does not care about its patients. They misguide and make appointments that are not needed. I suggest finding a new office that will offer customer service. I have contacted the office and corporate for weeks dealing with the issue. Still no resolve or support. I am still waiting to receive information from this office as to why our reimbursement was denied. Can someone please offer assistance and resolution to this issue?
