Porter Premiere Dermatology and Surgery Center

VA scheduled my appointment. When I arrived, staff said VA had never authorized it and said I could call the VA (like I have VA Community Care on speed dial). Went home, found authorization letter from VA showing that they had contacted Porter. Called Porter and gave date of VA authorization. I offered to text or email copy of authorization, but neither would due, and lady still claimed that there was no authorization. BTW, they also lost my wife's appointment, claiming it had never been made. Go elsewhere.

Awesome friendly greeting..very professional staff.. Keeps excellent personal records.. Dr Porter and his assistant worked so well on my procedure and was very medically thorough.. Now it's time to heal and make a follow up visit.. Thanks..

Let’s not waste peoples time. 40 minutes and counting past schedule appointment time is absolutely ridiculous. Why even schedule appointments if you can’t even come close to keeping said appointment time? I get things happen and you get behind..but almost an hour? People have other appointments to go to. Find a solution.

Dr Porter is very responsible doctor, I have very bad whole body skin eczema, when he first saw me, he used floor light to check everywhere including face feet hands, plus he used his hand to touch my skin so he can feel the pumps, no other doctors check my skin conditions so carefully and in detail like Dr Porter, I felt so moved, he is really great doctor! He gave me two shots and did biopsy and culture tests. He followed up to call me about my test results and prescribed medicines for me, he treated me not only on my skin problem, but mentally I felt better since I have been bothered by this skin problem for so long. He is very experienced and decisive doctor. After seeing him two times, my skin improved quite bit, I can sleep well at night finally! Thank you Dr Porter! I can enjoy my life and feel happy everyday.

Dr Porter and his staff are exceptional. I’ve been a patient there for about 10 years. Always treated with the utmost in courtesy proficiency, and professionalism. Highly recommended for your dermatology needs.
