It is a shame that the most unprofessional, rude at most times, no manners, lack of compassion, no respect for others, or herself "Luna" does not belong in the medical field. She is the worst first impression you could give the patients of Blue Ocean Dermatology either in person or on the phone. The medical assistants, nurses, and physician's assistants are great in the back! They take great care of the patients once they get in the care area. After my third rude and unprofessional incident with Luna , I called and canceled my appointment, and I am going to drive an hour to a different practice! Good work, Luna! I am going to miss you, Christina! PS I just got Dx metastatic melanoma - they canceled.
My 92 year old dad had surgery. They set up an appointment 4 days later for suture removal which was way too soon. Told to come back on the 8th of July at 830 to remove sutures. Waited over an hour to remove 3 sutures. The front desk has no idea to what is going on in the office. I will not bring my Dad back .
Didn’t even make it into the front door. I was referred to this place from the VA and relayed that info to Jason. It was a quick and easy setup for an appointment within 1-2 days. I received a call a couple days later asking to confirm insurance. Person I spoke to was Victoria I believe. I told her VA is covered and offered to give the authorization number the VA provided. She told me that she needed a referral faxed to her. I told her I wouldn’t know who to call to get that. Her reply: “the VA.” So when she asked if wanted their fax number, I told her no thank you. Let’s cancel this appointment. Update: called owner. Left message. Never returned my call. Update2: Blue Ocean scheduled another appointment without my knowledge or approval. I called “the VA” to cancel this authorization and gave feedback on what has occurred.
My daughter has severe psoriasis and they are very helpful. Appointments are a little far out but surely understanding with all the business they get. They really care for the patient and listen to any and all issues.
The only treatment you get from blue ocean is treated like dirt. I have been 3 times to get treatment on my squamous cell carcinoma to get nothing but the run around. This morning the 3rd appt was canceled due to the dr going on vacation. The second appt, I was hounded like an animal in the waiting room in front of all guests about a 40$ copay which I tried to explain my out of pocket max was met, that didn't matter to them so I wasn't seen. And the 1st time they charged me for nothing for the dr to switch it from mohs surgery to radiation, probably so they could get more $, since it's 13 treatments instead of 1.Waters Edge will be getting our families buisness from now on. Shame on you. To add since the response: a treatment plan is usually recommended by the doctor who is a “professional”, that would be the best treatment for the situation. When in fact I did see someone that I could trust, neither of your options was even the recommended treatment plan or discussed as an option! And also, you changed your response to make yourself look better, but instead of all that why don’t you just DO BETTER…
