Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology

I have been a patient at this office for 6+ years but will not be returning there after my last experience with a doctor named "Brigit". My visit was for my annual skin check and I told her to freeze all brown spots, she voiced understanding. I did not point out any spots to her as she was to be thoroughly doing an overall check of the skin on my entire body. I returned home from the visit and discovered that "Brigit" missed three brown spots on the right side of my body, one definitely large enough to be seen easily. Knowing that "Brigit" is human and all humans make mistakes, I gave her the opportunity to fix her oversights by calling the office, informing them of the circumstances and asked if I could just stop by the office real quick and she could freeze the three spots and stated that I should not be charged for it. The lady on the phone stated she would check, she comes back to the phone and said that "Brigit" stated that I had pointed my spots out to her which is not true, so apparently "Brigit" doesn't acknowledge her mistakes. The lady then told me that I could come in again but I would be charged for the visit and I think that is unacceptable business practice to charge a patient again when clearly it was not my oversight but "Brigit's". So now I have three skin lesions that apparently "Brigit" didn't even see let alone check, so let's hope they're not cancerous as I do have a history of squamous cell skin cancer. It is my opinion that "Brigit" did not perform an annual thorough skin cancer check for me.

Very happy with the service and knowledge of the provider, we kept attacking the issue and there was always a next step if this didn't work out. Thanks for solving my concern!

Bridget and the team at Coastal are wonderful! Bridget gave detailed explanations of everything she was doing and gave me multiple opportunities to ask questions. Everyone was so friendly, and the wait time was the shortest I've ever experienced at a medical provider's office.

Excellent experience. I am a health care provider myself and I was impressed with facility and staff. Bridget was great! She is personable yet professional. She is very knowledgeable and a skilled clinician. Very satisfied with my care received.

Dr Bridget was wonderful. Great bedside manner. Wait time was short .. less than 5 min .. I had an appointment early in tye morning. Glad to find a practice nearby with caring faculty
