Abram Berens, M. D.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Abram Berens for any patient seeking primary care or dermatological services. I have been a patient of Dr. Berens for approximately three years, and during this time the care I have received has been truly exceptional. Dr. Berens has a warm bedside manner, always listens attentively to my concerns, and at the end of every office visit never fails to ask “Is there anything else I can help you with?” Furthermore, the specialists Dr. Berens has referred me to, including cardiology, GI, and orthopedics, have all been excellent. Finally, Dr. Berens office staff is consistently kind and caring, and always tries to accommodate patient needs.

I have been going to Dr. Berens for 10+ years. He has had the same staff since I have been a patient. If that doesn’t say it all I will. Donna & Denna are the absolute best. They’re always kind, courteous, informative, polite personable and patient. Dr. Berens is a great MD. His general knowledge, orthopedic surgeon skills and knowledge combined with expertise in Dermatology makes him able to address almost any issue I have. He always takes the time to explain and answer questions. He also takes a personal interest in his patients. When hospitalized he made sure to stop and check in on me. Dr. B, Denna & Donna are the best. They day he stops practicing is the day I am in trouble.

Dr Abram Berens is one of the best Primary Care Drs, he always says I will keep you healthy and out of the hospital. He always has great referrals for specialists. He is also a Dermatologist. His staff is very attentive as well.

Long wait 1.5h plus, Dr Berens throws dirty jokes which is humiliating, not interested to go above and beyond to make your feel cared about or comfortable. Ladies, do not visit this Dr for your own good.

I would highly recommend NOT coming to this doctor. He made it very clear within the first minutes that he was only in it for money. He is exceptionally rude to the point you feel stupid for seeking medical help. Dr Berens bediside manner is absolutely disturbing as he felt it was necessary to tell me about how he knew a gentleman who fell from an oil refinery and was impaled by rebar and became paralyzed. And to top it off he violated OSHA regulations when he decided to pull my blood work with no gloves on. He then gave me referrals to see 2 specialists that won’t see me unless I have X-rays and other tests done by him that he did not order. This my first and last visit to this office.
