I began working with Belle Ame Wellness in September 2024 to support my weight loss journey, and so far, I’ve lost 32 pounds. Dr. Zaidi and her team have been exceptional throughout the process. I chose this path instead of ordering medication online through various websites, as I was concerned about the lack of transparency regarding the origin of the medications, potential unknown additives, and associated side effects. These, online options don’t provide medical monitoring, which is crucial for tracking factors like kidney and liver function, B12 levels, and managing potential side effects such as nausea and vomiting. Although, you do have to go to Belle Ame Wellness to receive the medication, the weekly visits are quick and efficient—I’m usually in and out in 15 minutes. This approach gives me peace of mind knowing that Dr. Zaidi has carefully vetted her vendors and that I’m receiving medically supervised treatment instead of taking unnecessary risks with unverified online sources. Dr. Zaidi is also talking about expanding her practice to incorporate a holistic approach to weight loss. This may include nutritional counseling and addressing the psychological factors behind overeating. I’ve struggled in the past to find accessible nutritional services through my insurance provider, and I’m excited about the prospect of these services being integrated. Combining lifestyle changes, exercise, and mental health support will be key to maintaining my progress once I’ve reached my goals and stopped the medication. I’m grateful for the care and expertise provided by Dr. Zaidi and her team and look forward to continuing this journey as I achieve new milestones.
