Very thorough and informative. Great bedside manner. Office staff and medical techs excellent.

Dr. Ilya Lim was professional and proactive with giving me detailed explanations as to what he was looking for during various visual inspections as well as any expectations surrounding procedures. Where I am displeased is surrounding office practices. I scheduled an appointment over the phone (based on my primary care physician's referral), and I was not told that my insurance was not accepted at this office. When I showed up for my appointment I filled out the intake forms, provided my identification and insurance card to the staff at the front desk...they finished processing my information...gave me back my identification and insurance card and let me know to wait in the lobby until called back for the doctor. After my visit with Dr. Ilya Lim was finished, during checkout at the front desk (same employee who processed my intake) I was asked for full payment as my insurance is not insurance that they accept (participate with were her words). Additionally there is an additional fee if you use credit... I do not see that as oversight, I see that as strategy. Why I chose the word "strategy" is because I questioned the employee as to why I was not notified of such ahead of time. Her responses appeared too templated to be the first time that she has addressed these concerns. Notifying prospective first time patients that their insurance is not accepted should be considered within the practice's business ethics. I feel as if I were taken advantage of with the lack of transparency.

Dr. Ilam is efficient, punctual, and thorough. He is also quite personable.
