About two years ago I began seeing doctors at the Silverstein Institute for a reoccurring double ear infection. I was passed around to 6 or 7 doctors. Each one had a different answer, with a different solution. At one point I was told to stop all medications and just blow dry my ears twice a day. At my last appointment, I asked the doctor why everyone keeps treating the infections but nobody is getting to the root cause of them. She refused to answer my question. After asking three times, I walked out of the office. She began yelling at me and saying "she will not be spoken to that way", when I didn't even say anything to her. I immediately called to speak to a manager, and then called twice more during the next two weeks. No response from them. Well, the drops she prescribed me aren't working. I called again today to ask for more and was told I am no longer allowed to return to the office. I have been nothing but patient this entire time, hoping that at least one doctor would see me suffering and help me. Instead, I was kicked out of the practice after becoming frustrating with a doctor during the 10th visit. Thank you Dr. Silverstein for the wonderful care.
It is impossible to get through to them on the phone no matter what you do. It is impossible to change or make new appointments, except to do it in the office at the time of your last import appointment. I’ve just spent an hour getting nowhere & I can’t get a return call because I have a silencer set up on my phone except for my contact numbers and they never call back on the main office number so I have to either miss the appointment or miss what the conflict is. I’ve had the first conflict in over a year because of a breakdown with Medicare and a new agent that wasn’t given any info and an old agent that dropped me like a hot potato so Where has client privilege gone? I’m not sure that that term still exist not around here.
Unable to get through to them on the phone ! No matter what day or time it is, they will simply NOT answer the phone. Unable to follow up on appointments unless you drive to their office in person and inquire.
I was their because my ears where full of wax so they did some digging poking and prying said it hurts all the girl did was saying almost over .I figured they would have flushed the lose stuff out but they didnt .so here it is about 3 months out .having problems again ....I won't be going back their because how I was treated their ...so if anyone gets a referral to them it's your choice to go or not ....I'm here to say what what my experience
I have been going to them since 1990 and they are great. I don't go anywhere else for my ears. With that being said when they sold out to first physician group they went downhill. Doctors are still great but you can't reach them and they don't return calls when you leave message after being on hold for an hour or more day after day. The worst decision they made was to join up with first physician group sadly.
