I think this place is extremely professional One of the reviews that I read talked about the size of the waiting room. I did not agree that it was small. I think it’s normal sized for a clinic of this type. They have efficient ways in which they register you they make it rather easy on the patient in my opinion. They did not take my insurance, but very few places do so once again that is no fault To this institution in my opinion, however, I was very impressed with the cash price they gave me for the procedure that I had I thought it was very reasonable. I live a busy lifestyle so I wanted to make sure I took a moment out of my day to give the credibility that this place deserves

Great experience at Advanced Dermatology! The staff was friendly, and Dr. Nyanda took the time to explain my daughter's scalp issue and treatment plan clearly. She made sure I understood how to use the prescriptions. Highly recommend!

Their Total Body Skin Cancer Exam (TBSE) should labeled Partial Body Skin Exam on their website. My history with skin cancer requires a complete exam every 6 months. Without getting into too much detail, the exam room had an exam chair instead of a table. The nurse gave me a paper gown but told me to leave my underwear on even though I signed the releases. The Dr. did the exam without examining any of my covered area. When I mentioned I expected a TBSE, it got awkward as there was no way without an exam table. We concluded without the complete examination I had expected. If not for this issue I'd give 5 stars instead of 1 as Dr Nyanda was excellent at examining the areas of my body that she did. She also answered other questions quite well. The issue was their coordination of my expectations for a TBSE as shown on their website which I made clear to them vs. what was actually provided at my appointment. Now I have to wait 6 months for insurance to cover again, hope there wasn't anything missed and try to find a dermatologist that understands how to meet expectations for and actually performs a TBSE for their patients. EDIT: The manager reached out to me to discuss my 1 star initial review. She proposed a solution so I raised my rating to a neutral 3 stars. She recommended my next exam be by a male dermatologist at another Advanced Dermatology location who would be more comfortable doing a TBSE on a male as apparently the female staff at this location isn't comfortable with it. It would have been good to understand this at the outset when booking the appointment or at least when I was first led into the exam room when I reaffirmed I was there for a TBSE. This entire situation could have easily been avoided if they had only explained their policy up front at booking. They could also modify their web page to let prospective patients know male TBSE exams aren't performed at this location.

If you’re looking for a dermatologist, do not go to Advance dermatology in Springhill. I’ll tell you what those people are rip off artist, go with insurance and they charge you a $90 co-pay that’s just to walk in the door now if they do anything then that’s another charge. What the hell is insurance for you get there and they won’t take cash since when is cash not acceptable in the United States. save yourself some money and do not go there. Their location is. 11021 Spring Hill Drive !!!!! What has the healthcare system become in the United States first off? You can’t find a good doctor in this area. The only reason they’re doing any of this is for money they don’t care about the patient at all.

Alexandra and Rebecca were fantastic. They explained the procedure. Even got in before appointment time which is always a surprise when you go to a doctor's office. Highly recommend Advanced Dermatology. When I went to the New Port Richey office they were just as efficient and friendly.
