DO NOT GO HERE! 360 Dermatology in Wesley Chapel, FL is the most unprofessional, careless medical practice I have ever been a patient of. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I had an outpatient surgery to remove an atypical mole, which required 5 stitches. 2 weeks later, on Friday 10/11/24, l arrived there at 9:00AM for my appointment to remove the stitches. Mind you, I had received 3 appointment reminders prior to that day including the previous evening. NO ONE WAS THERE. They turned off their phone messaging system so I could not speak with anyone or leave a voicemail. Not a single car in the parking lot, doors locked, not even a sign on the door. No phone call, email, or text providing care instructions. I saw another patient leaving who had been trying to get in before me. So what’s the big deal? My skin was already growing over the stitches causing intense pain. It was imperative the stitches be removed. I called several times; no phone # provided to contact an on-call doctor. I had to find someone on my own to remove my stitches which was very painful due to the skin growing over them & no numbing agent or scalpel available. UPDATE: It is now 10/29/24 (18 days later) and they STILL have not attempted to contact me or even ask how I am doing. This practice is a joke! No one there seems to take any accountability or concern for the safety and welfare of their patients after a surgery. They completely forgot about me. Who does that? If I hadn’t known someone who was qualified to remove my stitches, I would have ended up in the hospital that weekend paying out of pocket for a simple procedure that 360 Dermatology was supposed to perform. This practice is reckless and their inaction is inexcusable. I wrote this review so that you understand what you are getting yourself into if you choose to go to 360 Dermatology.

I was referred here by a friend and found it to be totally underwhelming. I waited 1.5 hours on my first appointment and 50 minutes on my second. In between I received an RX-that we did not discuss-and I wasn’t sure what it was for. So I called 3 times before my follow up and they did not answer their non emergency line. So I used their text option and they did not respond to that either. I called yesterday before my appointment today and went to their appointment option to talk to a live human. I asked the questions I had and they said they’d call back before my appointment but they didn’t. Today, after waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time, the nurse brought me in to wait some more. I started to ask the questions I had but she referred to different points than what we had discussed at my last appointment so I realized that it was probably not in my best interest to work with people that don’t care to handle basic communication with customers on a subject as important as your skin-so I walked out of my appointment (the doctor was still not there after an hour). I’ve never done that before and I’m 56. And I don’t remember the last time I was compelled to leave a review like this. It’s obvious from the building that the Ambays are successful-she handles dermatology and her husband handles surgery-and they have a giant new building (in addition to other facilities)-I recommend they take some of that money and put it towards staff and systems that are customer focused.

I am one of the most critical people I know, especially when it comes to service providers of any kind, medical or otherwise. Let me just say Dr. Aguila and his team deliver. I feel so fortunate to have found him as a Dermatologist. I think a big indicator anywhere is office/employee morale and it is clear everyone at 360 is happy to part of the team. They’re always smiling and happy to see you as well as professional. We all know trips to the doctor of any kind can tend to be awkward or uncomfortable, but Dr. Aguila’s bedside manner eliminates that. This paired with his expertise and technical knowledge leads to an exceptional level of care. Again, I am incredibly critical, but encourage anyone seeking dermatologic care, please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Aguila and his team. I am incredibly glad I did. Thanks!!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! I started seeing one of the providers (an amazing PA) and everything was great until I tried to call to reschedule an appointment set for October. I called several times over 3 days but couldn’t reach anybody. Eventually, I decided to send a text message like they prompt you to do in the phone call recording. When someone finally messaged me back they were very unhelpful. This is when I was finally notified that my provider had left the practice weeks ago, they never called to inform me or reschedule me when this happened so who would I have been seeing if I had shown up to the appointment? The person messaging me did not apologize for the oversight or anything. All my appointments have been at 7-7:30 am on Thursday/Friday. They tried to give me an appointment with another provider in the middle of the workday, when I asked for other availability early on a Thursday or Friday (I was willing to wait/did not need to be seen immediately nor was the time they offered immediate) they never responded. I tried calling again and nothing. It has been months now since this office has left me hanging. The last time my mother was in the office she called me and had me speak with the front desk person to try and be re-established with a provider since they left me hanging and I had no more medication refills. I spoke with them and they told me I could see Dr. Ambay the following week in her Lakeland office. I asked them if they were sure I could be seen because I’d have to take off of work since it’s in the middle of the day and I don’t live near Lakeland nor have I gone there before. They assured me she was open and could see me so I agreed to the appointment and they set the time for it in front of my mother. The following week, 2 days prior to the appointment, I got a text message saying my appointment time is unavailable and to call the office if I wanted to reschedule. Surprise, surprise they never answered my calls. I’m done with this run around, I shouldn’t have to beg a doctor’s office to see me when I’m paying for it. I’m finding a new office now so I can get my medication refills and hopefully some care.

I had an appointment and showed up to the Land O Lakes Office and the office was closed. I called them and was told that the service provider I was seeing left 360 Dermatology and I should have gotten a text that the appointment was cancelled. I got no text or message about the appointment being cancelled. I then schedule another appointment and show up a few weeks later to be told again that my appointment was cancelled. This time I was told that because I did not respond to a text to confirm my appointment, it was cancelled. After confirming my cell phone number in their system, I showed that I did not get any text whatsoever. I left with the impression that normal people needing patient centered care for a skin condition need not bother and their business model is more centered on high-dollar people with cosmetic skin care needs.
