Office very clean, modern and staff was very polite. My entire appointment was very efficient and did not have any long waiting time. Doctor and his assistant were focused on what I had to say. They let me talk and explain my concerns. They didn’t rush me through the appoint to get on to the next at all. I felt heard and listened to. Very much appreciated. I will be returning. 100% recommend!

I had always feared going to see a dermatologist thinking it would be an unpleasant experience. When I went to the Florida Institute of Dermatology this week it was a great relief to find the office staff and care givers friendly and professional. I am glad I was able to be examined by well-trained people without feeling uncomfortable. I was also relieved to find their biopsy procedures were not as painful as I had feared.

NP Evan was very thorough explaining everything to me and was very patient throughout the whole process, very friendly as well. Zoe the esthetician explained my symptoms to me well, and educated me ! Front desk wasn’t as kind and didn’t seem happy to schedule my 3 upcoming appointments, sorry to inconvenience you with my medical needs, but they do not reflect the doctors, and back of house staff.

My first visit was a very good experience. The staff were professional, pleasant, and welcoming. The Doctor was easy to communicate with, explained everything in detail, and was quite thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

Joanna removed 2 moles and sent them to pathology. One returned as a carcinoma. First let me start by saying when these amazing nurses numbed my cheek to get the biopsy I never could even tell that they touched me. From that point on through the cancer removal by the fantastic Dr Wangia I felt NOTHING. Not even after the numbness wore off. I hate having stitches removed but again it was hard to tell that this wonderful nurse even touched me. Everyone in that office from reception to surgery and aftercare could not be nicer or more understanding and have a more gentle touch. I started out with a different institute that is a cancer specialty. Every year when I went for my yearly check up they kept burning this mole and it just flattened it and all the while they never thought about taking a biopsy. My daughter convinced me to go see Joanna and I am so happy I did. Again thank you to all the staff here. If you have to have skin cancer surgery this is the place you want to be!
