Dermatology Institute for Skin Cancer + Cosmetic Surgery

Scheduling was easy and smooth. I had four moles/biopsies done. I received the results quickly and had a cancerous in office surgical procedure in a week. I'm super happy with the staff, appointments, and Dr. Harvey! 10 outta 10 Thank you, gang, I appreciate you all!

I had previously had come with my spouse years ago and the service was just fine.not this time. I had a 3:15pm appointment and arrived at 3:09pm. I was not taken back to the exam room until 3:40pm. Why was I waiting 30 minutes to be seen at a dermatologist office on a Wednesday afternoon? While I was waiting I could hear the staff laughing and carrying on while I waited. Finally Jamie Raisor arrived and wanted to immediately inject me in my arm for a surgery she had performed about a month ago as a follow-up. I told her no I was fine with it. She then proceeded to ask me about my itchy scalp which she had injected last time and I told her it still itched in the same spot, she wanted to go ahead and inject my head again and I told her no thank you. She made no attempt to get down to the root cause of what might be causing my itchy scalp and just wanted to treat it and that's it. What they fail to tell you is those injections are very pricey over $100 each one and the insurance only covers about $30 of it. This office has become very unprofessional .they do not respect your time there is no reason why you should be waiting 30 minutes and then be seen for less than 5 minutes. This incident happened today the 19th of February. Dermatology institute if you read these reviews you can look up your appointment book and see exactly that this is true. If you're looking for a dermatologist office I do not recommend that you attend this office. I was treated like they were doing me a favor. Horrendous customer service.

Staff are helpful, friendly and totally professional. Dr. Harvey is always listening, caring, patient and ready to answer questions.

I give them a five stars because the staff is so accomadating.Front desk rocks and are so patient.The PAs and nursing staff are very nice and try very hard to honor what your there for.My former derm,in Ca.He was the best Dr I ever had.He really loved the skin and gave the utmost attention to everything.To this day,I've not met any doctor more prepared.What I miss..He really did oversee your skin ,projection and gave me a plan to improve it.I would like more direction for improvement,but I feel that can be applied to any medical service nowdays.I have not actually seen Dr Harvey in a while but I have found him to be knowledgeable in his field.The staff really makes this practice.Dr Harvey is a surgeon so his absence is not a surprise to me.My skin has improved and that makes my life so much easier.I think skin conditions are greatly dismissed in their influence ...When it's clear,it saves me time and discomfort.
