Plastic Surgery Essentials (Formerly Savannah River Plastic Surgery PC)

Was supposed to have surgery scheduled in 2024 and they 'forgot' about me for a few months while I had been told I had been submitted for insurance approval. Then they couldn't fit me in the remainder of the year. Then I notified them of insurance change 11/24 for upcoming 2025 year. They decided to take me off the schedule without contacting me in any way whatsoever because they hadn't received my new insurance info after the new year. When I did, in fact, send them my new insurance info but their old system did not carry over my email. How was I supposed to know the entire practice had changed? How was I supposed to know my 4/2025 surgery had been completely taken off the books? I called several times also. Unprofessional and disorganized.

Loved the doctor and the staff. Haven't had my procedure yet but I feel very comfortable after meeting everyone at the office.

This office staff has a waiting list that’s rather lengthy for certain procedures and they are not upfront about this. I went to a consult that I waited for six plus months only to find out I was nowhere near close to being prepared or scheduled for the surgery given how behind they were. Dr. Lynn is the only doctor in this practice and while he seemed ok if you’re looking to get treated and seen in a timely matter I suggest you look elsewhere. The lack of communication and transparency plus trying to beg them to see you in a timely manner is not worth it. I ended up getting better treatment from AU/wellstar plastic surgery department that has more staff and doctors. After working in the medical field for 7 plus years this is not the standard and because they have so many patients they don’t bother or care to follow up or ensure you are aware of the timeline of visits and treatment plan. Please be careful this office doesn’t seem interested in the customer service or patient care side of your health and wellness because they have so many patients and unofficial waiting lists. Please be careful

Being diagnosed with breast cancer at 35 was horrible and I was dreading the whole process! But coming to this office, put my mind at ease. Dr.Lynn is an amazing surgeon! Has wonderful bedside manner and honestly made my reconstruction process so smooth. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

First to start. The staff was extremely nice very welcome then and showed great hospitality. Dr Lynn and his nurse when they came in to see me they were very very nice concern asking questions of every kind they could and I was very satisfied. Yes I would definitely recommend anyone to Savannah River Plastic Surgery PC. Sign DH
