Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology

I am a college student. I decided to book my own appointment and get something checked out and see what it could be and what procedures I needed to take. Since I’m a college student, I really don’t know too much about dermatology or the protocol with the doctor’s office. I went in and there was a lady doctor helping me out. She was super nice! The only problem is, she checked out the spot that I had a concern about and her initial thoughts were to cut it and do a biopsy. Keep in mind, I’m in college so I didn’t object because the doctor knows best. After getting the results, I realized that everything was okay. My problem is that, now I have to pay out of pocket for that. My insurance covered some of it which I am happy about but there’s still balance on my account for that biopsy. I wish the doctor talked to me more before she went to cut it. I wish she told me that it was cost “this” amount of dollars. I wish she would guided me a little more to make an informed decision before she made the decision herself. I do realize that I have to take some responsibility because nothing this free especially healthcare but I think it would be great for patient doctor relationship to talk to the patient and walk through options and give more insight before grabbing money. It’s about helping the patient, not how much money you can grab from them.

I had the best visit with Hope Cook, PA-C and her medical assistant! Hope took the time to really listen to my concerns, making me feel heard and valued. Both she and her assistant were incredibly friendly and efficient with their time. I left feeling confident about my care. Thank you for such a positive experience!

DR Malone and her staff are the best of the best when performing skin care for patients. The Mohs surgery procedure she performed on my nose and face was awsome. My nose surgery had to have skin graft and seven months later it's looks like nothing ever happened to my nose. Very pleased with GSC. Highly recommend.

Just left this office and had to comment on the exceptional care I received. I had an appointment with Dr. Malone for a Moh's surgery. I was called back right on time and Dr. Malone came in shortly after that. What a delightful lady she is! So kind and professional! She was able to get the spot with one incision and I was on my way home in 1 hour and 10 minutes! Her staff Dimple, Emma and everyone else I had contact with were so amazing! This was my first time at this practice and everyone made me feel so welcome! Will be returning in 4 weeks for a follow up and I have definitely found me a new Dermatology practice. Highly recommend to everyone!♥️

I’ve been going to this practice for a while now but today is the first time seeing Dr. Meeks. She was fabulous! She addressed my concerns and was so nice and easy to talk to. I was also in and out in about 20 minutes and in no way did I feel rushed. Love this place!
