Overall the staff is very caring/nice, especially the Dr. However, my only complaint is the NP who took over my care. She didn't take the time to listen/follow up with my health concerns, especially when s/sxs indicated a problem. I started experiencing severe hair loss to the point my head had to be shaved, mood anxiety, weight gain, chronic fatigue/SOB, tachycardia, palpitations etc. Labs were ordered and even though lab results were wnl at that time (barely), my symptoms indicated otherwise. I had several appts d/t my symptoms worsening within days/weeks. No additional testing was ordered, instead I was told by the provider to try intermittent fasting and she also prescribed an antidepressant. Because I'm a nurse, I knew something serious was wrong so I made the decision to change practices. Thank God I listened to my body. I was so sick by the time I saw my new provider. He listened, assessed all concerns/symptoms, ordered additional testing/labs and even consulted Cardiology. I'm now getting the proper treatment for diagnoses that should've previously been caught just by the symptoms I was experiencing. The biggest shocker was the cardiac symptoms I was experiencing led to me recently having open heart surgery. Please advocate for yourself, get 2nd opinions and listen to your body when you know something is wrong. It saved my life.

My Daddy has been real sick with Covid and then diverticulitis. I spoke with Dr Rio's on one occasion and he was really down to earth. Since I live 6 hours away from daddy now it's hard to do a lot but I feel he is in good hands. Thank you for all you do. Marsha Waters daughter of Noah Carter
